It’s absolutely ridiculous that someone would waste $35,000 on a trip to Antarctica just to prove a point that any sensible person already knows is false.
This Flat Earther, Jeran Campanella, embarked on this misguided journey to show there was “no 24-hour sun,” only to discover what everyone else already knew: the Earth is NOT flat.
“I won’t say the Earth is a perfect sphere,” he said. “But the sun does exactly what these guys said – it circles the southern continent. So that’s about it.”
NEW: Flat Earther travels all the way to Antarctica to prove that the Earth is flat only to find out that it's not.
Lmao.

Big yikes!!
The Sun reports:
As they observed the midnight sun – a phenomenon where the sun remains visible even at midnight – Campanella couldn’t deny the evidence before him.
“Sometimes you are wrong in life,” he admitted to the camera.
First mission to ‘create artificial solar eclipse’ using satellites will solve Sun mystery“I thought there was no 24-hour sun… but I honestly now believe there is.”
He went on to acknowledge the importance of the evidence before him, saying: “I honestly believed there was no 24-hour sun – I honestly now believe there is. And that’s it.”
Despite his confession, Campanella still didn’t fully embrace the globe Earth model.
Campanella’s attempt to debunk reality ended in failure when he realized, “Sometimes you are wrong in life and I thought there was no 24-hour sun. In fact I was pretty sure of it. And it’s a fact – the sun does circle you in the south.”
