Troll-In-Chief: Trump Teases 3rd Term – ‘I’m Not Joking’

On Sunday, President Donald Trump teased pulling a Roosevelt, in which he mentioned that there are “methods” he could use to run for president again, but added that it’s “far too early to think about.”

While the 22nd Amendment limits presidents to serving no more than two terms in office, Trump revealed that “A lot of people want me to do it.”

He told NBC News, “But, I mean, I basically tell them we have a long way to go, you know, it’s very early in the administration.”

Trump assured that he is “focused on the current” term, but told to the outlet that he is “not joking” about considering a third term.

“It is far too early to think about it,” the president added.

Before the 22nd Amendment was ratified in 1951, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt was elected as president for four terms.

During his fourth term, he died and Vice President Harry Truman stepped into the presidential role. To this day, Roosevelt is the only president to have been elected and served more than two terms.

“There are methods which you could do it,” Trump explained when asked about a third term. Which is accurate considering Vice President JD Vance could run for the presidency, win, and then pass the baton to Trump. In which case, Trump would be president for a third term.

“But there are others too,” Trump mysteriously added, without elaborating on what they are.

He added, “I like working,”
