Rep. Crockett Says Quiet Part Out Loud in Racist Rant (WATCH)

Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett is no stranger to loud, racist outbursts. In March, she went viral, for comments claiming immigrants being needed for farm work because that’s what they’re ‘good for.’ Now she is doubling down on that stance.

The Texas Democrat took a page out of an 1840’s handbook during her speech at the Grace Baptist Church in Connecticut, in which she declared, “I had to go around the country and educate people about what immigrants do for this country—and the fact that we are a country of immigrants. Right? Right. The fact is ain’t none of y’all trying to go and farm right now…You’re not! You’re not! We done picking cotton! We are! You can’t pay us enough to find a plantation.”

So she is arguing that since black people won’t farm, we need illegal immigrants for the job? What an ignorant mindset. Clearly Rep. Crockett believes that being a farmer is a low-class job, a job certainly beneath her.

Farming is a hard work filled with long days, early mornings, and continuous challenges. It is not a job to be looked down on, and certainly does not make you less than the next person.

Farming literally puts food on the table to feed our country. She has OBVIOUSLY never heard the phrase, “Don’t bite the hand that feeds you.”
