Carville Cries Wolf: ‘U.S. in Serious Crisis with Trump Admin’

On Wednesday, Democrat strategist James Carville appeared on “The Chris Cuomo Project” podcast and claimed that President Donald Trump’s second term in office is the most “serious crisis” that our country has ever faced.

Carville declared, “I think right now, and I’m going be very serious — I’m 80 years old — I think this is the most serious crisis that this country has ever faced. I think the entire idea of the United States is in jeopardy. I really do. I think it’s fundamentally that profound a problem. And I think if the Democrats act clever and determined, understand where they stand at this moment in history, I think that it would be very successful.

He continued, “We have a president who is siding with Belarus and North Korea and Russia. I’m sorry, that’s a crisis. We have a president that has appointed some of the most incompetent people you can imagine to the United States Congress. We have a president who is starting a trade war with our three biggest trading partners and we’re watching the beginnings of which could be a financial meltdown that we can hardly imagine. We have a president who does not respect our institutions, does not respect the limits to powers, the separation of powers that we have in our Constitution.”

Carville added, “I can think of no bigger crisis that this country has been in in my lifetime. Ever. I think we’ve had presidents who have made mistakes. The Iraq War being one — I thought they did it because they thought it would work, they didn’t do it because they thought it would hurt the United States. I think they were wrong. I am not convinced at all that Donald Trump loves the United States.”

MSNBC Downplays Violent Attacks on Tesla Owners as ‘Protests’

MSNBC is now downplaying violent attacks by describing them as “protests” – kind of like how they described violent Black Lives Matter “protests” huh?

On Tuesday, MSNBC host Alicia Menendez said during the broadcast of “MSNBC Prime” that acts of violence against Tesla dealers and owners are just acts of “protest.”

Trending Politics reports:

Menendez and her guest panelists were discussing President Trump’s meeting with Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, on the White House south lawn on Tuesday. The meeting was called after a number of Tesla dealerships across the nation have been vandalized and destroyed, at times through gunfire and explosives, while Tesla owners have been attacked and targeted in acts of political violence in response to Musk’s role in the Trump Administration.

In response, Trump bought a red Tesla to show support for Musk, telling reporters that acts of violence absolutely will not be tolerated.

“Those people are going to go through a big problem when we catch them. We’ve got a lot of cameras up, we already know who some of them are. We’re going to catch them. And they’re bad guys. They’re the same guys that screw around with our schools and universities, the same garbage,” Trump said. “And, no, we’re going to catch them. And let me tell you, you do it to Tesla, and you do it to any company, we’re going to catch you and you’re going to go through hell.”

During Tuesday’s broadcast of “MSNBC Prime” — which has been touted by network executives as a vehicle to reserve declining ratings — Menendez falsely claimed that the Trump Administration is labeling acts of protest against Tesla as “terrorism.”

“So just to be clear, you protest a private company, you are labeled by this administration, a domestic terrorist,” Menendez said in a blatant misrepresentation of the president’s comments.

Acts of political violence targeting Tesla dealers and owners have indeed been on the rise as Musk has taken a prominent role in the Trump Administration through the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) initiative.

On Sunday, four Tesla vehicles in Seattle were vandalized and set on fire. Some of the vandalism included anti-Musk slogans and Swastikas.

CNBC Claims Tourism is Decreasing Because ‘Foreigners Don’t Like Us’

On Thursday,  CNBC host Andrew Ross Sorkin appeared on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” and claimed that travelers coming to the United States have decreased because foreigners don’t “like” President Donald Trump and his policies.

When asked about tariffs, Sorkin declared, “Look, I just think there is two things that we need to talk about this morning. One is just some historical perspective. I think we might have mentioned it on the broadcast before, but you go back to 1930, Smoot–Hawley those tariffs and then you look a year later, what happened to global trade. It dropped by 60%. That’s what happens when you get in a trade war. It becomes a back and forth. It becomes a retaliatory effort. That’s that’s where we are. And if it continues, I imagine we will look a year later from now and we will say that global trade has declined in a very very material way.”

He added, “I will also say something we have not talked about on this broadcast at all. You talk to folks in the travel industry, folks that you know that are involved in airlines, in hotels and everything else, this trade war is going to turn into something broader than just a trade war. People in other countries are not coming to the United States the way they used to. You are going to see travel drop. Foreigners saying, we don’t like these people literally. And I think that that has an economic impact, but has a much broader, more profound impact that has not even been sort of calculated in what’s going on here.”

New Bill Defends Attacks Against Police in the Name of ‘Mental Health’

0

In February, Illinois State Rep. Lisa Davis introduced a bill to make “having a mental health episode” a legal defense for “aggravated battery” against a police office. The absurd proposal, known as House Bill 3458, has now gained two co-sponsors, Reps. Marcus Evans and Kelly Cassidy.

LegiScan.com states of the bill:

Amends the Criminal Code of 2012. Provides that it is a defense to aggravated battery when the individual battered is a peace officer and the officer responded to an incident in which the officer interacted with a person whom a reasonable officer could believe was having a mental health episode and the person with whom the officer interacted has a documented mental illness and acted abruptly.

Social media users have made their voices heard on how they feel about the bill. One person declared that this is just “another way to defund the police.

“They have found another way to hurt law enforcement, protection of citizens, to turn society upside down now by using mentally ill people as a tool,”another commented.

The Second Cop City blog reported on the bill first, warning, “If this passes, mental illness will be an excuse to attack and beat police officers. In fact, who wants to bet there will be thousands of people who suddenly have doctor notes that permit them to attack cops?”

The article added, “That’s probably by design. Davis is married to a Chicago firefighter and she probably doesn’t fancy the thought of him being attacked by a stranger without repercussions. When she’s not crafting legislation, Davis is a defense attorney in the Law Office of the Cook County Public Defender.”

This news breaks after some Democrat-run Chicago areas have teamed up mental health professionals with paramedics to replace police officers on some 911 calls.

Report: Putin Agrees to Ceasefire Under Certain Conditions

0

According to reports, Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to a 30-day ceasefire proposal on Thursday. However, it came with stipulations. His terms and conditions have yet to be announced, but I am sure they will be hefty.

“So the idea itself is correct, and we certainly support it,” Putin said during a news conference in Moscow. “But there are issues that we need to discuss, and I think that we need to discuss it with our American colleagues and partners.”

He explained that they need to develop some sort of mechanism to control any possible breaches of this truce.

“We agree with the proposals to halt the fighting, but we proceed from the assumption that the ceasefire should lead to lasting peace and remove the root causes of the crisis,” Putin added.

Breitbart reports:

A delegation of United States diplomats had earlier arrived in Moscow for talks on agreeing a ceasefire, with a possible call between President Donald Trump and Putin to follow, as Breitbart News reported.

AP further reports Putin noted while it appeared that the U.S. persuaded Ukraine to accept a ceasefire, Kyiv is interested in that because of the battlefield situation, pointing out Ukrainian troops that launched an incursion into Russia’s Kursk region would be fully blocked in the coming days.

Judge Orders Trump Admin to Hire Back Fired Federal Workers

On Thursday, a United States federal judge ordered six federal agencies to hire back thousands of workers who were fired in the government downsizing efforts by President Donald Trump.

Judge William Alsup claims that using the justification of “poor performance” to lay off people last month was just “a sham in order to try to avoid statutory requirements.”

Breitbart reports:

Ruling on a lawsuit brought by employee unions, Alsup ordered the departments of the Treasury, Veterans Affairs, Agriculture, Defense, Energy and Interior to reinstate anyone on probation who was improperly fired.

“It is a sad day when our government would fire some good employee and say it was based on performance when they know good and well that’s a lie,” said Alsup at a hearing at the US District Court in San Francisco.

Since returning to the White House in January, Trump has cut federal government spending programs and firing tens of thousands of the more-than two million employees on the federal payroll.

His actions have faced pushback from the courts, with several judges issuing injunctions intended to halt them.

On Thursday, the judge stated that although Trump was within his rights to downsize staff, it has to be done with proper justification – citing “reduction in force” orders by numerous agencies.

“If it’s done right, there can be a reduction in force within an agency, that has to be true,” Alsup said. “Congress itself has said you can have an agency do a reduction in force, if it’s done correctly under the law.”

Report: Ukraine Agrees to Ceasefire Under One Condition

0

According to reports, Ukraine agreed to an immediate 30-day ceasefire, which was negotiated by the United States. However, it comes under one condition: Russia must also accept the ceasefire plan.

The decision came after Ukrainian representatives met with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz in Saudi Arabia, when they “expressed readiness to accept the US proposal to enact an immediate, interim 30-day ceasefire, which can be extended by mutual agreement of the parties, and which is subject to acceptance and concurrent implementation by the Russian Federation.”

Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a joint statement with the U.S. Department of State, “The United States will communicate to Russia that Russian reciprocity is the key to achieving peace,” adding that the U.S. will “immediately lift the pause” and resume sharing intelligence and humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

Breitbart reports:

Delegates from both countries also discussed humanitarian efforts that could be carried out with the ceasefire, including “the exchange of prisoners of war, the release of civilian detainees, and the return of forcibly transferred Ukrainian children.”

Lastly, the joint statement added that both President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky “agreed to conclude as soon as possible a comprehensive agreement for developing Ukraine’s critical mineral resources to expand Ukraine’s economy and guarantee Ukraine’s long-term prosperity and security.”

“We’ve gone from if the war is going to end — to now how the war is going to end,” said Waltz, according to CBS News reporter Jennifer Jacobs.

During Tuesday’s press release, it was revealed that the United Sates will handle communication with Russia for peace negotiations.

LOL! Trump Trolls Rosie O’Donnell After She Self Deports to Ireland

0

On Tuesday, actress Rosie O’Donnell confirmed in a TikTok video that she’d fled the United States and relocated to Ireland in January, along with her daughter, Dakota.

Citing President Donald Trump as her reason for leaving, she said, “I miss my other kids. I miss my friends. I miss many things about life there at home and I’m trying to find a home here in this beautiful country and when it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, that’s when we will consider coming back.”

Trump clapped back at O’Donnell and trolled her for moving across the world. He told Irish PM Micheál Martin that he is better off not knowing who she is.

A reporter asked Martin, “Why would you let Rosie O’Donnell move to Ireland?”

To which Trump joked, “Did you know you have Rosie O’Donnell? Do you know who she is?… You’re better off not knowing.”

Boston Mayor Announces She’s Releasing Fugitives Wanted by ICE (WATCH)

On Tuesday, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu appeared in an interview with Boston Public Radio and announced that her city is releasing fugitives wanted by ICE because “ICE is choosing not to go and get these criminal warrants.”

She also claimed that “so and so was extremely dangerous and a threat to the community. And yet, they’re not taking the action that reflects what they should be doing if they believed that to be true.”

Big yikes.

Wu declared, “[A]ny agency that gets a judicial warrant, a criminal warrant signed by a judge that has verified probable cause and has gone through that process in the legal system, the Boston Police must enforce that. And we do, every day, whether that’s a warrant that comes from out of state for someone who might be wanted for a serious crime elsewhere, or even outside the country.”

She continued, “ICE is choosing not to go and get these criminal warrants. And what they’ll say is, oh, so and so was extremely dangerous and a threat to the community. And yet, they’re not taking the action that reflects what they should be doing if they believed that to be true. They’re waiting until afterwards and then saying, we had to arrest this person separately, because — and usually, it’s not Boston Police, because, frankly the police department isn’t holding people in custody for very long in most cases.”

Wu added that the city is under court rulings.
