Heart’s Nancy Wilson Slapped With Reality After Saying She’s ‘Embarrassed’ to be American

Nancy Wilson earned her fame singing for 70s rock band Heart, however, she was slapped with a harsh dose of reality after claiming that she is “embarrassed” to be an American in a recent interview.

The 71-year-old rocker said during an interview with the Milwaukee Sentinel, “We were kind of embarrassed at that time to call ourselves American because of the dirty politics of the Vietnam War.” As if that wasn’t bad enough, Wilson added, “To be as subtle as possible, it’s more embarrassing now.”

However, fans of the former rock star did not agree with her anti-American sentiment and told her she can leave if she is embarrassed.

One fan shot back that it is  “embarrassing to be a Heart fan now.”

Another quipped, “Says the millionaire who made TONS of dough playing music. I just can’t with these people right now.”

Many others joined in with comments like, “I hope Nancy Wilson leaves. What a disgusting pos. I used to love Heart, but I will never listen to them again,” and “Nancy has enough money where she is free to pick another country and go there. Maybe she can get a flat next to Rosie O’Donnell.”

In addition to being embarrassed to be American, Wilson dogged on “old rich white guys.” She argued that women have lost their momentum in today’s culture and declared, “I think for women in the culture the pendulum will come back again, and there’ll be another renaissance in the arts to push back against the oppression of the cranky old rich white guys.”

The “Barracuda” singer failed to comment on numerous stars in today’s culture are women, or how women have taken over half of the top ten albums in the United States as of March 22.

SignalGate: Trump Reveals How Goldberg Was Added to Group Chat on Houthi Strikes

Despite previous reports, it has been confirmed that Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg was mistakenly (or perhaps not so mistakenly?) added to a Signal group chat on Military strikes against the Houthis. On Tuesday, President Donald Trump revealed that a National Security Council staffer and aide to National Security Adviser Mike Waltz is the one who added Goldberg.

The president told NBC News, “It was one of Michael’s people on the phone. A staffer had his number on there,” but did not offer the name of the staffer.

Trump also did not throw Walz under the bus, declaring that “Michael Waltz has learned a lesson, and he’s a good man.”

He continued on to assure Americans that Goldberg being in the chat had “no impact at all” on the strikes, and explained that he has full confidence in his national security team.

Trump added that this incident is “the only glitch in two months, and it turned out not to be a serious one.”

As previously reported by America First News, Goldberg claimed he was added to the group chat on March 13, and falsely reported that the morning of the strikes against Houthis on March 15, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth had “texted [him] the war plan at 11:44 a.m. The plan included precise information about weapons packages, targets, and timing.”

However, Hegseth addressed the statement on Monday, stating that “Nobody was texting war plans and that’s all I have to say about that.”

He continued, “You’re talking about a deceitful and highly discredited, so called journalist who’s made a profession of peddling hoaxes time and time again, to include the, I don’t know, the hoaxes of Russia, Russia, Russia, or the fine people on both sides, hoax, or suckers and losers hoax.”

“This is the guy that pedals in garbage. This is what he does,” Hegseth added.

Democrats Manage to Flip ‘Reliably Red’ Senate Seat

According to reports, Democrats claimed a Pennsylvania state Senate seat in a district that has been solidly Republican since the 1970s. The win, by fewer than 500 votes, was celebrated by the Democratic Party and Governor Josh Shapiro, who highlighted the rejection of extremism and division.

As reported by The Center Square:

Democrats in Pennsylvania flipped a reliably red seat in the state Senate on Tuesday by less than 500 votes.

East Petersburg Mayor James Malone’s victory over Lancaster County Commissioner Josh Parsons surprised all. In November, President Donald Trump and Republican U.S. Sen. Dave McCormick won the region by wide margins.

Malone will replace former Sen. Ryan Aument, R-Lititz, who resigned earlier this year to serve as McCormick’s state director in Pennsylvania. Aument had been representing the district since 2016, and though its borders had changed slightly throughout the decades due to reapportionment, Republicans have held the seat since the 1970s.

Parsons officially conceded the race to Malone on Wednesday afternoon, saying there were not enough provisional ballots to close the gap.

The Lancaster County Democratic Party celebrated the win in a Facebook post on Wednesday, thanking the volunteers who helped the party “achieve this monumental win.”

“Northern Lancaster County saw what this MAGA movement and Josh Parsons had to offer, and rejected it,” the committee said.

Kirk Radanovic, chairman of the Republican Committee of Lancaster County, called the loss “frustrating” and said that Republicans who “sit on their hands or home on election day, elect Democrats.”

“Republicans cannot be complacent,” he said. “Today we start the next campaign, and let Senator-elect Malone know his days are numbered in Harrisburg.”

The Grand Old Party still controls the upper chamber in Harrisburg 27-23 and will continue to play a key role in shaping state policy alongside the Democrat-majority House and governor’s mansion.

Gov. Josh Shapiro, himself, celebrated the win on X on Tuesday evening, saying that voters “rejected a candidate who embraced the extremism and division coming out of DC.”

“In a district carried comfortably by Donald Trump just a few months ago, they chose a better way forward – an embrace of competence, commonsense, and a desire to bring people together,” he said.

Senate Approves Bishop as Deputy Budget Director in Trump Administration

Dan Bishop, the former North Carolina congressman, has been confirmed as the deputy director of the Office of Management and Budget. Nominated by President Trump, Bishop plans to implement cost-cutting and deregulatory initiatives across federal agencies.

As reported by The Center Square:

Dan Bishop, former congressman from North Carolina and state senator before that, was confirmed 53-45 by the U.S. Senate as deputy director of the Office of Management and Budget Wednesday.

Every Republican voted for him; 44 Democrats and one independent did not; and a Democrat and an independent each did not vote.

In a December statement making the nomination, President Donald Trump said, “Dan will implement my cost-cutting and deregulatory agenda across all agencies and root out the weaponized deep state.”

According to the White House website, the Office of Management and Budget has five functions across executive departments and agencies. These include but are not limited to oversight of agency performance; clearance of presidential executive orders; and development and execution of budgets.

“Congratulations to Dan Bishop, my friend, House colleague, and proud North Carolinian, on becoming the deputy director for budget at OMB,” Sen. Ted Budd, R-N.C., wrote on social media. “I cannot think of a better person for the job.”

Bishop’s confirmation hearing was Feb. 25 before the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs led by Chairman Dr. Rand Paul, R-Ky., with Budd introducing him. He was poised when questioned by Democrats, and well-received by Republicans on the panel.

“Our government has been self-absorbed, inefficient, unaccountable, and maladministered,” Bishop said during his confirmation hearing, referring to the national debt of $36 trillion. “The good news is that we can fix all of those things, and if confirmed, I will be laser-focused on doing so, along with Director Russ Vought and the superb public servants at OMB.”

Bishop won a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in a 2019 election do-over, was reelected in 2020 and 2022, and this past November lost to Democrat Jeff Jackson in the quest to be attorney general in North Carolina. The difference was just 159,549 votes of more than 5.5 million cast, with Bishop winning 76 of 100 counties and Jackson holding an upper hand in urban areas.

Not voting Wednesday were Sens. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Ruben Gallego, D-Ariz.

REPORT: Trooper Rescues Kidnapped 6yo Girl, Arrests 2 Dirtbags in Traffic Stop

According to reports, a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper rescued a 6-year-old girl who had been kidnapped more than a month earlier. The trooper stopped an SUV for a traffic violation and found the girl inside, along with two men in their 60s—one with a kidnapping warrant and the other with a criminal record that included homicide.

By the grace of God, both men were arrested, and the little girl was unharmed.

Fox News reports:

The trooper spotted a girl around that age inside the vehicle with the passenger and driver, both men in their 60s, highway patrol said. It was also discovered that the driver had a criminal history which included homicide and numerous weapons violations.

The trooper, with help from a local sheriff’s deputy, secured both men before safely removing the girl from the vehicle, highway patrol said.

“This 6-year-old girl gave the trooper a false name and date of birth, after having been coached to do so, in an attempt to keep the adult out of jail,” the agency revealed. “Ultimately, our trooper calmed the girl down and got her to tell him her real name.”

The young girl has been identified as the kidnapping victim, according to authorities, and the men were arrested. The agency reported that this traffic stopped occurred in February.

Oh Puh-Lease! Susan Rice Spouts Fake News: ‘Trump Admin a Security Threat’

On Tuesday, former White House adviser Susan Rice appeared on MSNBC’s “Deadline” and spouted fake news about the Trump administration being a “national security” threat.

She claimed that Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg being added to the Signal group chat in which Trump administration officials were allegedly discussing military strikes was “the biggest national security debacle that any professional can remember.”

Rice declared, “It’s stunning. It’s likely the biggest national security debacle that any professional can remember. Let me explain a bit why this is so crazy. First of all national security advisors convene what is called the national security principals committee meeting. This is the cabinet level group that makes the most important decisions and recommendations to the president on national security. It’s all those people that are on that chat, the Secretary of State, Secretary of Defense, the Director of National Intelligence, the CIA Director and others by the way. It’s bizarre.”

She continued, “This absolutely needs to be thoroughly investigated.”

Rice added, “This is pure laziness, malpractice, recklessness, and probably also a desire to hide from The Presidential Records Act the legal responsibility to keep written communications that happen and between government officials and particularly national security officials for the public record. So there’s many, many ways in which was so crazy.”

However, this is false according to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, who explained on Monday, “Nobody was texting war plans and that’s all I have to say about that.”

This came after Goldberg claimed he was added to the group chat on March 13, and falsely reported that the morning of the strikes against Houthis on March 15, Hegseth had “texted [him] the war plan at 11:44 a.m. The plan included precise information about weapons packages, targets, and timing.”

Goldberg said that Hegseth posted in the group chat “operational details of forthcoming strikes on Yemen, including information about targets, weapons the U.S. would be deploying, and attack sequencing.”

Hegseth told reporters, “You’re talking about a deceitful and highly discredited, so called journalist who’s made a profession of peddling hoaxes time and time again, to include the, I don’t know, the hoaxes of Russia, Russia, Russia, or the fine people on both sides, hoax, or suckers and losers hoax.”

“This is the guy that pedals in garbage. This is what he does,” he added.

LOL! Gov. Kathy Hochul Actually Thinks She Can Stop Deportations

New York Governor Kathy Hochul actually thinks that she can stop the deportation of illegal immigrants. Boy does she have something else coming!

The governor announced that her state will not cooperate with mass deportations, except in cases involving warrants, terrorism watch lists, or criminal activity. Although some counties have partnered with ICE, Hochul stressed that state police under her leadership will not take part in mass deportations. This statement comes as Trump’s former border czar oversaw ICE arrests in Boston, underscoring the ongoing debate over immigration policies and federal cooperation.

“We’re not going to allow this mass deportation,” Hochul said during an appearance on The David Pakman Show. “Where we will cooperate — and I did this even under the Biden administration — if you have a warrant, or you know, someone’s on a terrorism watch list or committing crimes in their home country, or committing crimes here, that’s a different category, and I will help you with those to protect everyone — whether the newly arriving New Yorkers or where they’ve lived here their entire lives.”

“So our state policy, our state law, does not allow for our state police to be involved in those situations,” she continued, citing what she called “renegade counties in New York.”

“Individual counties can sign a pact with ICE and we have a lot of them — some on Long Island some in upstate New York, where there’s different political views,” Hochul said. “What I control is the state police, and they will not cooperate in that,” she declared.

Trump Believes Russia Wants to End War, Despite ‘Dragging Feet’ on Peace Deal

On Tuesday, President Donald Trump appeared in an interview on  Newsmax TV’s “Greg Kelly Reports,” and stated that he isn’t sure if Russia is delaying a peace deal but believes that both Russia and Ukraine want the war to end. He likened Russia’s possible hesitation to his own experiences with business negotiations.

Newsman host Greg Kelly asked, “I know the conversations are ongoing, but — and you can’t say everything, you don’t want to say everything, probably, about diplomacy, but we’re hearing that maybe Russia is dragging its feet at this point and Zelensky has shown some openness, especially after what happened in the Oval Office a few weeks ago. Is that accurate at this point?”

Trump replied, “I don’t know. I’ll let you know at a certain point, but I think that Russia wants to see an end to it. But it could be they’re dragging their feet. I’ve done it over the years. I don’t want to sign a contract. I want to sort of stay in the game, but maybe I don’t want to do it, quite, I’m not sure. But, no, I think Russia would like to see it end, and I think Zelensky would like to see it end at this point.”

Judge Cries Over Deported Gang Bangers – Says ‘Nazis Treated Better’

Federal Judge Patricia A. Millett is now more concerned about the treatment of gang members being deported than she is about American lives. She drew a ridiculous comparison between the Trump administration’s deportation of illegal alien gang members and the treatment of Nazis under the Alien Enemies Act. The administration used this Act to deport 250 gang members to El Salvador, but a temporary restraining order has halted the move.

“There were planeloads of people. There were no procedures in place to notify people,” Millett complained to Deputy Assistant Attorney General Drew Ensign during a Monday hearing. “Nazis got better treatment under the Alien Enemies Act than has happened here…”

Ensign rebottled her argument, stating that the government “certainly dispute[s] the Nazi analogy.”

Breitbart reports:

The remark from Millett came during a hearing regarding whether a lower court can address the Trump administration’s plan to deport hundreds, potentially thousands, of gang members associated with Tren de Aragua and MS-13 through the Alien Enemies Act.

This month, the Trump administration used the Alien Enemies Act to deport 250 illegal alien gang members with Tren de Aragua and MS-13 — both of which are now designated as terrorist organizations by the State Department — to a mega-prison in San Salvador, El Salvador.

At the last minute, following a lawsuit from the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and Soros-linked Democracy Forward, Judge James E. Boasberg issued a temporary restraining order blocking Trump from deporting illegal aliens using the Alien Enemies Act.

“They are not disputing the right of the U.S. to detain them, what they are disputing and challenging is the capacity of the U.S. government to release them to Salvadorian jails without any advance notice or due process and whether they even qualify under the proclamation,” Millett combatted.

Just before the hearing, Boasberg ruled that the illegal alien gang members who were deported to El Salvador under the Alien Enemies Act must be allowed to challenge their deportations.
