UWEC Professor FLIPS OVER TABLE Set Up by College Republicans (VIDEO)

On Tuesday, University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire (UWEC) Professor Jose Felipe Alvergue went completely unhinged at seeing a College Republicans table on Election Day.

The professor, who is chair of the English Department, claims that the group was too close to the polling location and proceeded to flip their table supporting former state Attorney General Brad Schimel.

WSAU reports:

According to the group, the UW-Eau Claire high-ranking department chair and professor has been identified by the university as Jose Felipe Alvergue, who is allegedly under investigation after he was seen on a video on X walking away from the incident with the group’s table flipped, with their papers, belongings, and materials scattered on the ground.

The UWEC College Republican Chair, Tatiana Bobrowicz, spoke about the matter in a posted statement on X regarding the incident, saying, “This morning around 8:30, we had just finished setting up our table for election day when a professor came up and flipped our table in a violent attack towards us. This is unacceptable, and the university has since confirmed that this attacker was the chair of the university’s English Department. Once again, this kind of violent attack will not be tolerated.”

In an interview with Wisconsin Right Now, Bobrowicz stated she was at the table when the incident occurred and that Alvergue had claimed they were too close to the university’s polling location before he said, “The time is over,” and flipped their table, which led the group to file a police report and speak to the university’s community relations liaison.

UW-Eau Claire Interim Provost Michael Carney also stated, “I am deeply concerned that our students’ peaceful effort to share information on campus on election day was disrupted. UW-Eau Claire strongly supports every person’s right to free speech and free expression, and the university remains committed to ensuring that the campus is a place where a wide variety of opinions and beliefs can be shared and celebrated. Civil dialogue is a critical part of the university experience, and peaceful engagement is fundamental to learning itself.”

Carney confirmed that Alvergue has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation into the situation.

Gorka Slams ‘Tolerant Left’ as ‘Tesla Burning Terrorists’

On Monday, senior director for counterterrorism Sebastian Gorka appeared on Newmax’s “Finnerty” and slammed the left – who have self branded as “tolerant” but yet they are destroying Teslas all over the country because they disagree with Elon Musk’s politics.

Gorka pointed out the good Musk has done, like using his company SpaceX to rescue the astronauts in space, and noted his efforts in the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to root out waste, fraud, and abuse.

In return, “the liberals — the tolerant left — are burning his dealerships down.”

“God bless this man,” Gorka added. “And as an individual who’s been doing counterterrorism for more than a quarter of a century, you don’t just have to hurt people or kill people to be a terrorist. If you damage private property or government property with a political purpose, you are a terrorist.”

He doubled down on his comments on X, by sharing the video of his Newsman interview and declaring, “Yes. It IS Terrorism.”

Greenland’s Newly Elected PM Declares Trump ‘Will Not Acquire Greenland’

On Sunday, Greenland’s newly elected Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen dismissed President Donald Trump’s assertion that the US would acquire Greenland, emphasizing the country’s right to self-determination.

Nielsen pushed back in a  Facebook post, “President Trump says that the United States ‘will get Greenland.’ Let me be clear: The United States will not get it. We do not belong to anyone else. We decide our own future.”

He added, “We must not act out of fear. We must respond with peace, dignity and unity. And it is through these values that we must clearly, clearly and calmly show the American president that Greenland is ours. It was like that yesterday. That’s how it is today. And that’s how it will be in the future”

On Saturday, President Donald Trump stated that he believes the U.S. could take Denmark “without military force.”

“This is world peace, this is international security,” the president added, “I don’t take anything off the table.”

This sparked anger within Greenland’s new Democratic government, which is what inspired Nielsen’s social media post. This isn’t the new prime minister’s first take on the topic though.

Earlier in March, he rallied for European countries to stand with Greenland because “Greenland is not for sale.”

‘Turnout Is Booming’: America First Candidate Leads BIGLY In Crucial House Race

Trump-supporting voters are showing up big time in Florida’s 6th congressional district to support Republican candidate Randy Fine. The “booming” turnout, paired with the district’s R+14 rating, points to a strong potential Republican win. Which is crucial for House Speaker Mike Johnson, who currently governs with a slim Republican majority.

Fine is running against Democratic challenger Josh Weil to fill the seat of former Rep. Mike Waltz, who has advanced to being a national security advisor in President Donald Trump’s administration.

Decision Desk HQ’s Michael Pruser reported on X that turnout has been phenomenal for Fine.

“We’re three hours into election day voting in FL-06, Randy Fine is getting everything he could have dreamed of, and more,” the election forecaster wrote. “Turnout is booming, and Republicans are coming out en masse. Exactly 19,000 ballots were cast today through 10 am ET, and the composite of these ballots is a whopping R+36.”

He added, “This pushes the overall current electorate to R +13.04%, and we are likely going to sail upwards toward R+18% by the end of the day.”

On Monday, Fine said at a telephone town hall meeting that Democrats will do all they can to slow House business if Weil wins.

“Democrats are mad,” he said. “They’re going to do whatever it takes to grind Donald Trump’s agenda to a halt.”

President Donald Trump has spoken in favor of Fine, rallying supporters to turn out and vote for the America First candidate.

“America First Patriot Randy Fine is running to represent the Wonderful People of Florida’s 6th Congressional District!” he wrote in Truth Socia post. ” A highly successful, Harvard educated businessman, and greatly respected State Legislator, Randy has been a tremendous Voice for MAGA.”

Trump added, “In Congress, Randy will be an incredible fighter, who will work tirelessly with me to Strengthen our Economy, Lower Taxes, Secure the Border, Champion our Military/Vets, Ensure American Energy DOMINANCE, Protect our always under siege Second Amendment, and Advance PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH.”

Trump Finds Loophole in Judge’s Deportation Rulings – Defies Him with Sneaky Move

Despite a federal judge’s injunction on deportations under the Alien Enemies Act, the Trump administration LEGALLY deported 17 violent gang members linked to MS-13 and Tren de Aragua to El Salvador.

How is this possible? They looked for the loophole, of course.

Trending Politics News reports:

U.S. District Court Judge James Boasberg had recently extended a TRO blocking the administration’s use of the Alien Enemies Act — a 1798 wartime-era law — to deport suspected gang members, citing a lack of procedural safeguards. The ACLU, which represents the plaintiffs in the case, has claimed the law allows deportation without adequate judicial review.

To bypass the judge’s restrictions, the administration leveraged Title 8 immigration authority, a standard legal mechanism for removing foreign nationals. The deportations were executed in partnership with El Salvador’s government and President Nayib Bukele, a strong ally of President Trump in the fight against international gang crime.

In other words, the deportations did not need the Alien Enemies Act at all, in order to be carried out.

On Monday, Secretary of State Marco Rubio commended the maneuver on X, “In order to keep the American people safe, @POTUS designated the Tren de Aragua and MS-13 as Foreign Terrorist Organizations.”

“These criminals will no longer terrorize our communities and citizens.” He added, also patting El Salvador’s government on the back for their “unparalleled partnership in making our countries safe.”

Among those removed was Keivis Jesus Arrecheder Vasquez, a Venezuelan national and alleged Tren de Aragua ringleader who reportedly has pending charges related to drug trafficking. According to Fox News, six other known members of Tren de Aragua were also included in the deportation group.

The rest were tied to MS-13, a violent transnational gang notorious for murder, rape, and extortion. All 17 individuals were either Venezuelan or Salvadoran nationals, with the majority already convicted of serious crimes.

President Nayib Bukele stated, “Last night, in a joint military operation with our allies from the United States, we transferred 17 extremely dangerous criminals linked to Tren de Aragua and MS-13.”

He added, “All individuals are confirmed murderers and high-profile offenders, including six child rapists. This operation is another step in the fight against terrorism and organized crime.”

Denmark Boycotts American Goods Over U.S. Push for Greenland

According to reports, Denmark shoppers are now boycotting American goods and services in response to President Donald Trump’s interest in Greenland. The boycott went viral through social media groups and had led to a decrease in sales for some companies, like Tesla, Netflix, and Coca-Cola.

NBC News reported “widespread anger” over Trump inquiring about ownership of Greenland, which has allegedly prompted shopped in Denmark to boycott American products, and pushing local businesses.

Cellphone apps and Facebook groups have even been created to help consumers “avoid American goods and services.”

Among them, “Boykot Varer Fra USA” or “Boycott goods from the USA,” which has gained almost 93,000 members since it was set last month to protest President Donald Trump’s repeated suggestions that the United States should take over the Arctic territory.

“We love the U.S. and the culture, but we just dislike the president,” one of the group’s co-administrators, Bo Albertus, told NBC News in a telephone interview Saturday. He added that the Trump’s treatment of Greenland, which is part of Denmark, and has “a set of values that we do not share with Trump” was inspiring people to join the group, which has a crushed Coca-Cola can as its main image.

Albertus, who works at a school for children with autism in Albertslund, a suburb of the capital, Copenhagen, added that the group was working with a similar campaign in neighboring Sweden.

Some Canadians have also begun boycotting U.S. companies and products as well.

Report: China, Japan, and South Korea to Collectively Address US Tariffs

On Monday, Chinese state media account reported that China, Japan, and South Korea would be joining responding to the U.S. tariffs implemented by President Donald Trump. However, Seoul claims that report is “somewhat exaggerated” and Tokyo denied the report completely.

On Sunday, the three countries held their first economic dialogue in five years, aimed to facilitate trading in the region and brace for U.S. tariffs.
Reuters reports:

Japan and South Korea are seeking to import semiconductor raw materials from China, and China is also interested in purchasing chip products from Japan and South Korea, the account, Yuyuan Tantian, linked to China Central Television, said in a post on Weibo.

All three sides agreed to strengthen supply chain cooperation and engage in more dialogue on export controls, the post said.

When asked about the Chinese state media report, a spokesperson for South Korea’s trade ministry replied that “the suggestion that there was a joint response to U.S. tariffs appears to have been somewhat exaggerated.”

On Tuesday, when Japan’s Trade Minister Yoji Muto was asked about the report, he claims that there was a meeting to exchange views, but no such discussions on jointly addressing the tariffs were had.

During Sunday’s meeting, the countries’ trade ministers agreed to speed up talks on a South Korea-Japan-China free trade agreement deal to promote “regional and global trade”, according to a statement released after the meeting.

“The three countries exchanged views on the global trade environment, and as you can see in the joint statement, they shared their understanding of the need to continue economic and trade cooperation,” said the South Korean trade ministry spokesperson.

Jayapal Boasts About ‘Training Americans to Take Down Trump Dictatorship’

On Monday, Democrat Representative Pramila Jayapal appeared on MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show” and boasted about training Americans to take down a potential “dictatorship” of President Donald Trump.

Jayapal explained, “It appears that the Trump administration is willing to ignore judicial decisions and so that brings us to you in this room. It brings us to the people that is really, the bulwark, the wall against the crumbling of democracy.”

Host Rachel Maddow inquired, “Help me understand this idea of the resistance lab and what you’re talking about in practical terms at these events.”

Jayapal replied, “Yeah I mean, what we decided is that we really need to help Americans understand what happens when democracies fall when dictators take over. We’ve been pretty complacent in America. We haven’t had to really deal with this in any real way. And now I think people need to understand what are the lessons from other countries and working with experts who have studied democratic backsliding in countries around the world and the resistance movements that emerged to take on that democratic backsliding.”

She added, “We’ve developed a curriculum where we help people understand, how do you go after the pillars of support? Not necessarily the person at the top but the pillars of support that allow that person to continue to have power? And how do you shift allies from being sort of passive opponents to being active supporters of taking down a dictatorship?”

Report: ICE Arrests Man Who Was Deported 16 Times Already

ICE arrested Ignacio Cruz-Mendoza, a Mexican citizen deported 16 times, following his release from jail for a reckless driving conviction. This arrest is part of a series of ICE actions targeting criminal illegal immigrants in Denver, highlighting the ongoing debate on sanctuary city policies.

The Center Square reports:

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement of Denver announced on Sunday that it arrested Ignacio Cruz-Mendoza, a citizen of Mexico who has been removed from the United States, or voluntarily returned to Mexico, 16 times since 2002.

Most recently, Cruz-Mendoza was sentenced for “reckless driving resulting in death” after killing one man and injuring others in a Colorado car accident in June 2024.

Sentenced to just one year in jail in August 2024, Cruz-Mendoza was already being released from Jefferson County’s Detention Center, according to Denver 7. ICE agents made the arrest upon Cruz-Mendoza’s release from jail.

This was just one of a series of arrests of criminal illegal immigrants that ICE Denver reported it made last week.

  • March 25: Arrested Rafael Cabrera-Barron, who has already been removed from the United States twice. Cabrera-Barron has convictions for sex assault on a child and currently has pending charges for burglary, trespass, child abuse and possession of controlled substance.
  • March 25: Arrested Juan Nava-Dominguez. Nava-Dominguez has previous convictions for possession of fentanyl and served 8 years in prison.
  • March 26: Arrested Victor Alonso-Martinez. Alonso-Martinez has convictions for illegal re-entry and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
  • March 27: Arrested Gabriel Vergara-Cabanas. Vergara-Cabanas has a criminal history that includes charges for kidnapping, menacing, assault, harassment and sexual-related offenses.
  • March 28: Removed a “Salvadoran criminal alien” wanted for the crimes of aggravated homicide, displacement of individuals, unlawful groupings and aggravated robbery in El Salvador.

This comes as Denver politicians and Colorado Democrats have been outspoken in their disagreement with President Donald Trump’s deportations efforts, as previously reported by The Center Square.

In early March, Denver Mayor Mike Johnston testified before the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform regarding his city’s sanctuary city immigration policies.

During testimony, Johnston “defended Denver’s values.”

“As we all heard, he referred to Denver not as a ‘sanctuary’ but as a ‘welcoming’ city, which has opened the floodgates for violent gangs like Tren de Aragua to take over our communities,” Colorado’s Republican members in the U.S. House said a joint statement in response to Johnston’s testimony. “The people of Colorado deserve better… It is time that Colorado Democrats come to the table and repeal sanctuary policies and protect Coloradans.”
