Dem Rep. Claims ‘Any American’ Could Be Deported and Tortured Under Trump

0

On Tuesday, Democrat Representative Ritchie Torres appeared on CNN’s “The Situation Room” and claimed that under the Trump Administration, “any American” could be abducted, deported, and tortured.

CNN host Wolf Blitzer asked, “You are introducing a bill that would require the U.S. to secure the return of mistakenly deported individuals. Why is this necessary and will you have any Republican support?”

Torres replied, “I’m skeptical that we will have Republican support because the Republican party is fully captive to Donald Trump. But of all the abuses of Donald Trump’s presidency, there is no greater threat to liberty than his complete contempt for due process.”

He continued, “You know, without due process, what stops Donald Trump from wrongfully labeling any American as a non-citizen gang member and abducting them in the dead of night and rendering them to a foreign prison to be tortured? You know, Donald Trump’s actions set a dangerous precedent for our democracy.”

Torres  added, “If there is a foreign leader like the president of El Salvador who refuses to comply with an order from a federal court to release someone who’s been wrongfully deported, there should be geopolitical consequences, and those consequences should be swift and severe. It should include the suspension of relations with the United States and the termination of foreign assistance.”

Commie Cuba Bans Christians from Celebrating Palm Sunday

0

According to reports from Cuban outlets, the communist regime banned Christians in Havana from celebrating Palm Sunday and the traditional Solemn Stations of the Cross on Sunday.

Cuban priest Lester Rafael Zayas Díaz of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Vedado, Havana wrote on social media, “We hereby inform that the Solemn Stations of the Cross announced and prepared by the Vicariate for tomorrow Palm Sunday at 6:00 p.m. from Linea to Lateran has been suspended because the authorities have not approved it.”

Palm Sunday is the first day of Holy Week, which commemorates the Passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This year, Holy Week runs from April 13 to April 20, which is Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday.

Breitbart reports:

The Stations of the Cross that the Cuban communists prohibited the Vedado parish from celebrating is a Catholic procession that commemorates Jesus Christ’s last day on Earth prior to resurrection on Easter Sunday. Some Christians observe this practice on Good Friday, which marks the crucifixion of Jesus. Neither the Castro regime nor the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish has explained the reasons behind the prohibition of the procession in Vedado.

Last week, Father Zayas Díaz shared pictures of the procession’s rehearsal before it was canceled by the Castro regime. The procession is on the complete list of events that the Archdiocese of Havana planned for this year’s Holy Week in the Cuban capital.

Sunday’s prohibition marks the second year in a row that the Castro regime banned Catholics from celebrating Holy Week processions in the country. In 2024, the regime banned Christians in Havana and several other cities from celebrating that year’s Stations of the Cross and other Holy Week activities. Prior to the 2023 and 2024 prohibitions, Vedado’s Stations of the Cross procession was reportedly celebrated without interruption for over 11 years and had only been suspended due to the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic.

When the Castro regime prohibited the 2024 Holy Week, Father Zayas Díaz reportedly told the Catholic News Agency’s Spanish branch, ACI Prensa, that he believes it was implemented out of fear for possible protests against the communist government.

Tapper Accuses Trump Admin of Using ‘Flimsy Evidence’ to Deport Gangbanger

0

On Monday, CNN host Jake Tapper appeared on “The Lead” and accused the Trump administration of using “flimsy” evidence to deport Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a migrant with ties to MS-13, who was sent to a prison in El Salvador.

Tapper declared, “Just a quick fact check on some of this and some important background on Garcia, who is married to a U.S. citizen. He has one child with her and two stepchildren. It is true that Garcia is a citizen of El Salvador, and it is true that he entered the United States illegally sometime around 2011. His attorneys say that he was initially fleeing gang violence in El Salvador. As for the allegation that he’s a member of MS-13, which he fervently denies, well, the evidence of that is much more flimsy. According to court documents, Garcia and three other men were arrested in 2019. He was asked if he was a gang member. He said no. Garcia had been deemed a gang member by the Prince George’s County Police Department in part because he was at the time wearing a Chicago Bulls hat and a hoodie, and a confidential informant claimed that Garcia was an active member of MS-13, although he denied that at the time.

“Now, later that year, an immigration judge granted Garcia protective status, allowing him to stay in the United States legally, finding that even though Garcia was liable for deportation because he was in the country illegally, he should be protected from deportation, the judge said, to El Salvador because that would constitute a danger to him,” he ranted. “Here we are six years later, despite that protective order, and despite zero criminal convictions, Garcia is now back in El Salvador, and not just El Salvador in a notorious prison there. And while Trump’s officials claim and admit, rather, that it was an oversight that he was deported to begin with, they’re still clinging to this rather shoddily proven claim that he is, without question, an MS-13 member. And they’re doing that to justify the fact that he’s sitting in this prison in El Salvador.”

Tapper added, “Yeah, I think most people probably have more of an issue of him being deported to a notorious prison than they do have an issue with him being deported in general. But Trump is also suggesting he would like to send so-called homegrown violent criminals, American citizens, to prisons in El Salvador.”

Yet, it was already determined in 2019 by two different courts that Garcia has ties to the gang. That was SIX years ago. Why do Democrats always defend criminals over the American people?

Toy Industry CEO Argues Trump’s China Tariffs Put ‘Christmas at Risk’

0

On Tuesday, Toy Association president and CEO Greg Ahearn appeared on CNN’s “The Lead with Jake Tapper” and claimed that President Donald Trump’s 145% tariffs on China could jeopardize the Christmas holiday.

“No toys are currently being produced in China. And there are reports that major retailers here in the U.S. are starting to actually cancel orders. So, Jake, Christmas is at risk,” Ahearn declared.

He went on to claim that American companies can’t compete with production like factories in China, and that it would take a significant amount of time for U.S. manufacturers to catch up to China’s pace.

“There are some toys that are made here in the U.S., but they’re mostly paper goods or highly automated goods. And it represents a small portion of the toys that are manufactured,” the CEO told host Jake Tapper. “It would take three to five years to be able to build out the capacity, the specialization. Again, a lot of the toys that are made in China, as you said, 80 percent are hand labor made toys.”

“It’s the face painting on a doll. It’s the hair decorating. It’s placing them the correct way and packaging. A lot of this is hand labor that can’t be automated here in the U.S.,” Ahearn concluded.

President Donald Trump has maintained that the tariffs will both increase jobs in the United States as well as boost American manufacturing. He said, “There’s no difference between China and any other country, except they are much larger, and China wants what we have, what every country wants what we have: the American consumer. Or to put it another way, they need our money.”

Fmr Treasury Sec. Yellen Claims American Dream is Dead – Not a ‘Desirable Goal’

According to former U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, the American Dream is dead. The Biden era official blasted President Donald Trump on Monday, claiming that returning manufacturing jobs to the United States is nothing more than a “pipe dream” and not a “desirable goal.”

Yellen appeared on CNBC’s Squawk Box to spew her anti-American rant. “Things have been just chaotic,” she declared. “The reciprocal tariffs put on and paused … This is really creating an environment in which households and businesses feel paralyzed by the uncertainty about what’s going to happen — it makes planning almost impossible.”

Later in the interview, she said the quiet part out loud. She claimed that she does not believe in “American manufacturing.”

Just like a Democrat to want the United States to depend on other countries for the things we need.

“Perhaps it’s to bring back American manufacturing, but I really think that’s a pipe dream, and not something that is likely to be accomplished,” she said, dissing Trump’s efforts to bring jobs back to America “And we could even raise questions about whether or not, in a broad-based way, that’s a desirable goal.”

America First: Nvidia Announces MASSIVE $500B Tech Investment in Texas

0

According to new reports, AI powerhouse Nvidia is planning to invest up to $500 billion in AI productions right here in the great state of Texas. Another win for President Donald Trump and the United States.

Barron’s reports that Nvidia has commissioned more than a million square feet of manufacturing space in Texas AND Arizona to build and test Blackwell chips and AI supercomputers. As this production ramps up, it is set to be the first time Nvidia will be producing this technology entirely within the United States.

Breibart reports:

Nvidia’s Blackwell chips have already started production at TSMC’s chip plants in Phoenix, Arizona. Meanwhile, the company is constructing supercomputer manufacturing plants in partnership with Foxconn in Houston and Wistron in Dallas. Mass production at these facilities is expected to ramp up within the next 12-15 months.

The manufacturing of Nvidia’s AI chips and supercomputers for American AI factories is projected to generate hundreds of thousands of jobs and drive trillions of dollars in economic security in the decades ahead.

Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang explained, “The engines of the world’s AI infrastructure are being built in the United States for the first time. Adding American manufacturing helps us better meet the incredible and growing demand for AI chips and supercomputers, strengthens our supply chain and boosts our resiliency.”

The AI chip and supercomputer supply chain is highly complex, requiring the most advanced manufacturing, packaging, assembly, and testing technologies. To support this endeavor, Nvidia is collaborating with Amkor and SPIL for packaging and testing operations in Arizona.

Over the next four years, Nvidia plans to produce up to half a trillion dollars worth of AI infrastructure in the United States through its partnerships with TSMC, Foxconn, Wistron, Amkor, and SPIL. These industry-leading companies are deepening their ties with the most powerful company in the AI space, expanding their global footprint while strengthening supply chain resilience.

This cutting-edge technology will power a new type of data center, an “AI factory” of sorts, to fuel the emerging AI industry.

Trump responded to the investment announcement, “I want to thank Jensen. Nvidia is an amazing American company. They wouldn’t have done this without the tariffs.”

MSNBC’s Heilemann: Trump Wants to Deport ‘Anyone,’ Not Just Immigrants

On Monday, MSNBC national affairs analyst John Heilemann appeared on “Morning Joe” and claimed that the Trump administration told the Supreme Court that it can “take anyone in the United States and disappear them to a foreign country.”

MSNBC co-host Jonathan Lemire said, “The White House deliberately chose who they thought were, quote, unsavory characters that there wouldn’t be mass unrest, mass uprising to protest and try to defend them. We should note, president Trump, we heard them on Friday saying, well, we’ll we’ll agree with we’ll defer to the Supreme Court. Well, everything administration has done since then saying no, basically saying, well, that’s not our problem anymore. These people, including Mr. Garcia, are in the custody of El Salvador. We should note the president actually landed last night at Joint Base Andrews, no sign of that man joining him.”

He pressed, “This seems to be the point, right? You and I have talked about this a lot, and you’ve been on this early that the White House wants this fight, they want the confrontation with the courts. They’re having one right now with the Supreme Court. It seems like that they’re not backing down. So what next?”

Heilemann replied, “This is not just about immigrants who are in this country illegally, this is not just about this case. This is not just about this El Salvador. The specifics of this case, as Justice Sotomayor noted last week, the Trump administration’s claim, legally, is that they can take anyone in the United States and disappear them to a foreign country, and that even if they acknowledge that that was an error of any kind, that they are powerless to bring that person back to the country. That’s not jus. about Mr. Garcia. it’s not just about illegal illegal immigrants. It’s not about criminal illegal immigrants, it’s about everybody in the United States. Anybody is what their legal claim is, Justice Sotomayor, as I said, made this very clear last week.”

Heilemann added, “That’s the principle and the legal precedent that’s at stake here, and it is setting up, if there’s anything, we may or may not be in a constitutional crisis already. But if the administration continues to hew to that line, we will be in an unequivocal constitutional crisis, and I think that day is very, very close at hand.”

Zelensky Argues Trump ‘Can’t Understand’ Ukraine War Until He Visits

0

In a new plan of desperation, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is begging President Donald Trump to visit Ukraine and see the impact that war has had on the country, claiming that Trump and people in his administration can’t “understand” what is happening without seeing it first hand.

In an interview with CBS News’ 60 Minutes published on Friday, Zelensky was asked if he would ever invite Trump Ukraine, to which he replied, “With pleasure. Please. I always wanted very much, that’s what I wanted to do, I did it… I always said that, we want you to come, to come and to see.”

He continued, “You think you understand what’s happening here, OK, we respect your position… everybody thinks they understand… but please. Before any kind of decisions, any kind of format of negotiations, come to see people — civilians, warriors, hospitals, churches, children destroyed or dead, wounded or just walking in the streets.”

Zelensky also recalled his visit to the Oval Office in February, in which things got heated between himself and Vice President JD Vance when he argued, “Have you ever been to Ukraine, have you seen what problems we have? Come once”.

Vance replied that foreign leaders who do visit are given a “propaganda tour” which is carefully curated. Clearly two months later, this is still a sore spot for Zelensky.

“We see this war differently,” he said, “I am in Ukraine and I understand what happened. But he does not understand at all. He speaks in the same language as the Russians… We will not prepare anything [for a VIP visit], it will not be theatre, with actors in the streets. We don’t do this, we don’t need it. You can go where you want in any city that has been under attack”.

Fauxcahontas Warren Demands Congress ‘Take Tariff Authority’ from Trump

On Sunday, Senator Elizabeth Warren appeared on CNN’s “State of the Union” and demanded that Congress take tariff authority away from President Donald Trump, declaring that it’s a “mistake” for him to be “playing red light, green light” with tariffs.

Warren argued, “It is a mistake to have the President of the United States out there just playing red light, green light and saying, oh, this morning I woke up and think the tariffs should be this big. Now, I think they should be this big; now, I think they should be somewhere else. And I got to say, saying, well, I will continue to make those decisions and I’m going to hold off on these tariffs for 90 days, that doesn’t put the economy in a better place. That doesn’t put investors in a better place.”

She continued, “Congress has a job right now, and that is to step up and take this authority away from Donald Trump. He has proven how he will use it. But remember the statute that he’s now using starts with a declaration of emergency. And in that same statute, Congress has the responsibility to decide is it really an emergency or not? Are we really in an emergency with Belgium right now? Are we really in an emergency with South Korea?”

Warren added, “Congress can say no, there’s no emergency. It’s a resolution. And if we do that, it takes Donald Trump back to the trade as we had it before. Tariffs are then decided with Congress having an important say in it. That’s an important signal to the rest of the world. Right now it’s a no curbs on Donald Trump and that means chaos and corruption. We have an opportunity in Congress to vote that down and to say, no, we are going to use tariffs in a far more targeted way.”
