Rep. Jeffries Cries Wolf: ‘US in Crisis Due to Trump’s Policies’

On Thursday, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries appeared on CNN and claimed that the United States is in crisis, blaming President Donald Trump’s policies.

“We are in a crisis across the board, in every way possible, including the assault on the democratic way of life,” the anti-Trumper told CNN’s Dana Bash. “The president is assaulting the economy, assaulting Social Security, assaulting health care, assaulting the American way of life, and assaulting our democracy. None of this is normal.”

Just because you repeat the word “assaulting” several times doesn’t mean that it is actually happening.

“Donald Trump is clearly crashing the economy in real time and he’s driving us toward a recession,” Jeffries continued. “The manner in which these tariffs have been unleashed on the American people will result in the largest tax increase on everyday Americans since at least 1968. That clearly is a problem. That’s not what the American people signed up for.”

The only crisis here is that Democrats will no longer be able to launder money and defraud the American people. Thanks to Trump and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) Taskforce, there are billions of dollars being redirected to actual priorities, rather than things like gender studies in Pakistan.

Judge Claims ‘Probable Cause’ to Hold Trump Admin in Contempt

On Wednesday, a federal judge claimed that he found probably cause to hold the Trump administration in “criminal contempt” for deporting criminal illegal immigrants to El Salvador and defying his order to turn the plane around.

U.S. District Judge James E. Boasberg claims that he will launch hearings and possibly refer the case for prosecution unless the Trump administration tries to “purge” itself of a contempt finding.

He said, “The Court does not reach such conclusion lightly or hastily; indeed, it has given Defendants ample opportunity to rectify or explain their actions. None of their responses has been satisfactory.”

The move by Boasberg marks an escalation in a battle between the judicial and executives branches of government over a president’s powers to carry out key White House priorities. The Republican president has called for Boasberg’s impeachment while the Justice Department has accused the judge of overstepping his authority.

Boasberg, who was nominated to the federal bench by Democratic President Barack Obama, ordered the administration last month not to deport anyone in its custody under the Alien Enemies Act. Trump invoked the 1798 wartime law over what he claimed was an invasion by the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.

When Boasberg was told there were already planes in the air headed to El Salvador, which has agreed to house deported migrants in a notorious prison, the judge said the aircraft needed to be returned to the United States. But hours later, El Salvador’s president, Nayib Bukele, announced that the deportees had arrived in his country. In a social media post, he said, “Oopsie…too late” above an article referencing Boasberg’s order.

President Donald Trump and his administration have maintained innocence through the matter, arguing that they did not violate any orders. It was also noted that Boasberg did NOT include the directive to turn the plane around in his written order. That paired with the fact that the plane had already departed the U.S. by the time he gave the order.

White House Warns ‘Sanctuary’ Policies Are Endangering American Lives

On Tuesday, the White House warned that “sanctuary” policies are endangering American lives in the areas that refuse to cooperate with federal immigration authorities.

The administration specifically cited an incident in Prince George’s County, Maryland where an illegal immigrant was arrested and charged with murder, but was then released. This was in direct defiance against an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) request for him to be detained.

Officials revealed that ICE eventually caught up with and detained the illegal immigrant and he will be deported to Guatemala.

The White House declared, “The negligence of leftist politicians is putting lives at risk.”

In 2019, Angela Alsobrooks was a Prince George’s County Executive, during which time she openly announced, “We are not participating in immigration enforcement.”

The executive turned U.S. Senator added, “That is the job of the federal government, but we wanted to give advice and counsel to the police department and the department of corrections on occasions where we would notify ICE.”

Shortly after President Donald Trump began his second term, acting Prince George’s County Executive Tara Jackson told The Baltimore Banner that the policy remained essentially unchanged since Alsobrooks’ tenure.

“The Prince George’s County Police Department does not engage in federal immigration enforcement actions, such as deportation operations or raids, as this is the responsibility of federal agencies,” Jackson said. “Our focus is on ensuring public safety and building trust with all members of our community, regardless of their immigration status.”

Prince George’s County’s apparent commitment to sanctuary policies seems to extend to its representation at the state level.

State Del. Nicole Williams, a Democrat who represents Prince George’s County, introduced a bill in the state House earlier this year to ban ICE’s 287(g) program in Maryland, which allows corrections officers to identify and hold noncitizens for up to two days at ICE’s request.

“The 287(g) program is a mechanism through which certain communities are terrorized and creates a fear cooperation with law enforcement,” Williams said.

Clearly Americans are an afterthought in the mind of Democrats. They only seek to protect those coming into our country illegally.

AG Leticia James in Hot Seat – Faces Mortgage Fraud Prosecution

On Tuesday, Federal Housing Finance Agency Director William Pulte accused New York Attorney General Letitia James of falsifying records to obtain a home loan in Virginia. According to Pulte, James declared the Virginia property as her primary residence while actively serving as New York’s top prosecutor—a move that could potentially breach both state and federal laws.

He wrote in a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi and deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche that James “falsified records” in order to secure a home loan in Virginia in 2023.

“On August 17, 2023, Ms. James granted Ms. Shamice Thompson-Hairston power of attorney to make a Virginia property her ‘principal residence,'” Pulte alleged. “And on August 30 and 31, 2023, through her attorney, Ms. James purchased this property in Norfolk, VA. In a Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac Form 3047 and in mortgage documents, she reaffirmed this would be her primary residence, despite being a statewide public office holder in the state of New York at that same time and primarily residing in the state of New York.”

Interestingly enough, New York Post revealed that the AG’s transaction took place WEEKS before her civil fraud trial against the Trump Organization.

Sounds like the pot was trying to call the kettle black. Remember when she preached about no one being above the law? Guess she thought that didn’t apply to her.

Pulte’s letter went on to note that in 1983, James and her father signed a mortgage stating they were “husband and wife in order to secure a home mortgage. Then, on May 4, 2000, Ms. James was listed again as husband and wife’ in documents. While this was a long time ago, it raises serious concerns about the validity of Ms. James representations on mortgage applications.”

Pulte outlined that James could be liable for criminal charges ranging from “wire fraud” to “mail fraud,” “bank fraud,” “false statements to a financial institution,” “and/or other relevant state and federal laws.”

On Sunday, Trump responded to the situation on Truth Social, calling James “a totally corrupt politician,” and said she “should resign from her position as New York State Attorney General, IMMEDIATELY.”

“Everyone is trying to MAKE NEW YORK GREAT AGAIN, and it can never be done with this wacky crook in office,” the president added.

HUGE WIN! UK Supreme Court Rules ‘Trans Women’ Are NOT Biological Women

The Supreme Court in London just shocked the world by ruling on the side of justice – declaring that the terms “woman” and “sex” refer to biological, not gender.

This is a MASSIVE win for real, biological women.

The court ruled, “The definition of sex in the Equality Act 2010 makes clear that the concept of sex is binary, a person is either a woman or a man.”

Breitbart reports:

Judge Lord Patrick Hodge said in the ruling that the body of five judges had unanimously agreed that a man with a Gender Recognition Certificate, a UK legal paper that recognises that person’s assumed gender when it is other than their biological sex, could not be counted as a woman when it came to equality legislation.

As the court notes, this is pertinent to laws such as a 2018 Scottish law that moved to force gender equality on public bodies by mandating a 50-50 split between men and women on their boards. However as the law had been interpreted at times up to this ruling, a public body’s board could still be biologically totally male as long as half the members held Gender Recognition Certificates stating they were, in fact, women.

The Daily Telegraph cites the remarks of Maya Forstater, the chief executive of the gender critical Sex Matters group who proclaimed that the ruling means gender self-identification is “dead”. She said of the ruling: “They thanked us for our cogent argument. It has turned the Equality Act from confused to being clear.

Forstater argued, “They looked at the whole argument, not just who goes in what bathroom and trans women. This is going to change organisations, employers, service providers. Everyone is going to have to pay attention to this, this is from the highest court in the land. It’s saying sex in the Equality Act is biological sex. Self ID is dead.”

However, the court declared that “the Equality Act 2010 gives transgender people protection not only against discrimination through the protected characteristic of gender reassignment, but also against direct discrimination, indirect discrimination and harassment in their acquired gender.”

In an interview that was taped on Monday with Fox Noticias, President Donald Trump floated the idea of giving money and a plane ticket to illegal immigrants who choose to “self-deport” as well as get back the ones who are “good.”

He revealed that his administration is working hard to target “murderers” and get them out of the country. However, for others in the United States illegally, he plans to implement “a self-deportation program.” The program will essentially provide them with airfare and a stipend.

Trump explained, “We’re going to give them a stipend. We’re going to give them some money and a plane ticket, and then we’re going to work with them — if they’re good — if we want them back in, we’re going to work with them to get them back in as quickly as we can.”

“We’re doing a self-deportation, and we’re going to make it comfortable for people,” he added. “And we’re going to work with those people to come back into our country legally.”

Interviewer Rachel Campos-Duffy played a clip of a Mexican man who came to the United States illegally more than 20 years ago, who has children that are American citizens. She said that the man says that although he can’t vote, he would have supported Trump in the election. During the clip, the man states that immigrants committing crimes should be returned to their country of origin, including himself.

“I look at this man. I say, this is a guy that we want to keep,” Trump responded. “I’ll probably take heat for saying it.”

On Tuesday, Governor Tim Walz appeared on MSNBC’s “All In” and declared that he is terrified of President Donald Trump believing that he can win a nuclear war.

Walz declared, “The Democrats are engaged like you’re talking about. I agree with you, a lot of people are going about their daily lives, and there’s just so much chaos and so many crises it doesn’t feel like the shift that we know is happening is there. I think the thing that was encouraging to me is people are picking up on it fast. This is not performative resistance, if you will. This is people really concerned and they’re telling their stories that are very personal, whether it’s Parkinson’s and depending on Medicaid or what’s happening with them at the VA. They’re telling those stories in front of their neighbors and it’s very raw. It’s a lot of emotion, but they’re very engaged.”

He continued, “I have come to understand with Donald Trump what pops into his head, and he says he’s going to carry it out. I once again, he talked about the tariffs. he talked about, you know, he’s going to deport people.”

Walz added, “What terrifies me is he has talked in the past about nuclear war being winnable. He talks about the tariffs and you think that’s terrifying look what he talks about. If he says it, he plans on doing it.”

On Tuesday, Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey appeared on MSNBC’s “The Beat” and laughably claimed that the Trump administration freezing $2.2 billion in grants to Harvard University “smacks of the authoritarian regimes of the past.”

Federal grants to Harvard were frozen due to their refusal to cut DEI programs and expel Palestinian protestors.

Healey declared, “Harvard is saying enough is enough. And let me be clear, I was a civil rights lawyer. I was attorney general, there is no place for anti-semitism in society on our college campuses or anywhere else. And there’s no question that Jewish students have been treated poorly on campuses around this country. It’s also the case that colleges need to do more and in fact, Harvard has done more.”

The governor continued, “This is the point that people need to really understand, that this is really just another attempt by Donald Trump to silence those who disagree with him. To bully, in this case our colleges and universities in the same way he’s bullied and tried to silence law firms and corporations and everyday people.”

She added, “Look, it’s an abuse of power. It smacks of the authoritarian regimes of past where you talk about silencing law firms, companies, colleges and universities, when you talk about disappearing people from our streets, including foreign students here on work visas. It also has really significant economic consequences for this country. If you truly believe in America first and you want to restore manufacturing here, you know what you shouldn’t be doing? Sending our researchers and our scientists and the next generation of entrepreneurs overseas, which is what Donald Trump is doing by cutting funding to our colleges and universities.”

Rep. Stefanik Calls for Higher Education to Be Defunded ‘Across the Board’

On Monday, Republican Representative Elise Stefanik appeared on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity” and called for defunding higher education across the board, because it “has fundamentally lost its way and it’s increasingly out of touch and the tuition rates go higher and higher.”

This is in response to Harvard University announcing that it will defy President Donald Trump’s orders to both cut DEI programs and expel Palestinian protestors.

Stefanik agued that “U.S. taxpayer dollars should never be propping up antisemitism, and the vast majority of the American people support President Trump and support the work that we are doing in Congress to hold these higher ed. institutions accountable.”

Fox News host Sean Hannity asked, “If, as a country, we want to help kids get through a local community college that’s relatively inexpensive, or maybe a trade school, I think American taxpayers would be far more accepting of that. Why should one taxpayer dollar go to these elite institutions and so-called institutions of education, when they have billions and billions and billions of dollars in endowments, why don’t they pay for their own scholarships? Why are they relying on hardworking carpenters and nurses and bricklayers and everybody in between, landscapers to pay for somebody’s Harvard education?”

Stefanik replied, “You are spot on, Sean. And the vast majority of the American people do not want to prop up these institutions. … There is so much opportunity across this country for the next generation, whether it’s in the workforce, whether it’s in this manufacturing renaissance that is going to happen under President Donald J. Trump, whether it’s community colleges or trade schools, vocational programs, that is a pathway to success, higher education has fundamentally lost its way and it’s increasingly out of touch and the tuition rates go higher and higher. So, we need to defund across the board, and President Trump is rightly holding these schools accountable.”
