BREAKING: WH Memo Sparks Election Fraud Firestorm Targeting ActBlue!

0

On Thursday, President Donald Trump signed an executive memorandum to investigate ActBlue, which is the leading Democratic fundraising platform.

According to the memo, Attorney General Pam Bondi has been authorized to “investigate allegations regarding the unlawful use of online fundraising platforms to make ‘straw’ or ‘dummy’ contributions or foreign contributions to political candidates and committees, and to take appropriate action to enforce the law.”

It also specifically called out ActBlue as an online fundraising platform used by Democrats “to improperly influence American elections.”

A White House document attached to the memorandum also alleges that ActBlue has accepted donations in which the donors have evaded federal limitations by breaking contributions into smaller donations and attributing them to multiple people.

An ActBlue spokesperson lashed out, calling Trump’s move a “brazen attack on democracy in America.”

“Today’s escalation by the White House is blatantly unlawful and needs to be seen for what it is: Donald Trump’s latest front in his campaign to stamp out all political, electoral and ideological opposition. This Administration continues to weaponize the instruments of federal power in an unprecedented assault on our democracy,” the spokesperson said, noting that ActBlue will challenge the directive in court.

NBC News reports:

ActBlue is the primary fundraising tool for Democratic candidates and, in many cases, the default donation option on Democratic campaign websites. It is widely considered one of the pillars of the party’s digital ecosystem.

The platform works as a conduit, facilitating individual donations for campaigns and nonprofit groups and taking a 3.95% processing fee on most donations.

Early this month, the heads of three Republican-led House committees released a report detailing what they characterized as “illegal activity” on ActBlue and accused it of failing to take action against alleged fraud.

“ActBlue’s internal turmoil, lack of a functioning legal team, possible retaliatory actions, and failure to take fraud seriously raise new questions about the platform’s ability to deter fraud and comply with federal election law,” the three GOP lawmakers said in a joint statement accompanying their report.

The memo notes that there is evidence that ActBlue has allowed  “significant fraud campaigns” on its platform.

Oops, They Said It — Dem Rep. Admits What They’re Not Supposed to

Once again, Democrats have shown that they care more about the people illegally occupying our country than the actual American citizens. How truly sad is that?

On Thursday, Democrat Rep. Adam Smith appeared on NewsNation’s “Cuomo” and admitted the quiet part out loud – revealing that Congress has been held up from passing legislation for a stronger border security because “a number of us believe that there are a lot of people in this country, undocumented who should be allowed to stay. They have been a vital part of our economy. They are vital parts of our community. They are husbands, wives, mothers, fathers, working, paying taxes. We have depended upon their labor for decades, and to rip those families apart and send them back to countries that, in many cases, they don’t even know, we believe, would be wrong. So, Democrats want pathway to citizenship for some undocumented immigrants, and then a lot of us are wide open to talking about toughening the asylum laws and getting to greater security.”

He then went into a spiel about due process for deportations and alluded back to the lie about the Trump administration deporting so-called law abiding, Maryland father Abrego Garcia. In reality, Garcia is an illegal immigrants known for being a wife-beater and MS-13 gangbanger.

Schumer said, “[W]e did a poor job of securing the border, particularly on the asylum laws. I don’t necessarily agree with everything that Mr. Homan said there, but certainly, the asylum laws were wide open, and people took advantage of that. And President Biden didn’t do enough to secure the border. On the larger question of what Congress wants to do, the problem is we can’t get a compromise, tough on the border, but also, we’ve got Donald Trump blocking refugees, taking away Temporary Protect[ed] Status, and also a number of us believe that there are a lot of people in this country, undocumented who should be allowed to stay. They have been a vital part of our economy. They are vital parts of our community. They are husbands, wives, mothers, fathers, working, paying taxes.”

He added, “We have depended upon their labor for decades, and to rip those families apart and send them back to countries that, in many cases, they don’t even know, we believe, would be wrong. So, Democrats want pathway to citizenship for some undocumented immigrants, and then a lot of us are wide open to talking about toughening the asylum laws and getting to greater security. But that inability to compromise on that issue is the biggest thing that has blocked Congress acting.”

Showdown Brewing — Schumer Threatens ‘Extraordinary Action’ if Trump Snubs Supreme Court

0

On Thursday, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer appeared on MSNBC’s “Chris Jansing Reports” and threatened “extraordinary action” if President Donald Trump disobeys a Supreme Court order.

Host Chris Jansing asked, “The Supreme Court said the administration must facilitate the return of Kilmer Abrego Garcia, who was mistakenly deported to El Salvador. That has not happened. Are we at the point, Senator, where you feel extraordinary action is warranted?”

Schumer replied, “Look, the case will be back to the Supreme Court, they sent it down to the lower court judge. But if the president disobeys a Supreme Court order, extraordinary action will be necessary. We’ve never had that in the Republic before, in the kind of way that the president is doing it.”

He continued, “He doesn’t believe in democracy. He doesn’t believe there should be diversity of opinion. He doesn’t believe in due process. You can’t pick up someone off the streets and send them somewhere if you don’t have evidence, if you haven’t presented evidence against them, the country, the democracy is at risk.”

Schumer added, “If the Supreme Court makes a final decision and Trump decides to disobey it, and it will be on all of us, not just the political leaders, but certainly us, but on all Americans to resist that. I think that would happen.”

Democracy in the Crosshairs? Sen. Murphy Panics Over GOP Agenda

On Thursday, Democrat Senator Chris Murphy appeared on MSNBC’s “All In” and sounded the most pitiful alarm I’ve ever heard – claiming that they are in a “national fight” against the GOP’s so-called “destruction of democracy.”

Are we even reading the same book?

Murphy declared, “This is a national fight and Republicans think that they can get away with this thievery, this corruption, this destruction of democracy by hiding. We have some really important votes coming before the Senate and the House this summer. Republicans are planning to vote on this bill that would throw millions of people off their health care, including lots of them here in North Carolina in order to fund a tax cut for the billionaire class. People who don’t need it.”

He continued, “Republicans are kind of hoping that in their backyard, their constituents won’t hear about the truth because they’re refusing to hold town halls. So Maxwell and I are committed this spring and this summer to be all over the country and hold town halls where Republicans won’t. We only need to convince 3 or 4 Republicans in the House and the Senate to vote no against these cuts to save a lot of lives.”

The senator added, “We are here in North Carolina because there are a couple of swing votes here in the Senate and in the House that might save a whole bunch of lives if they do the right thing when this bill to cut medicaid and fund tax cuts for billionaires comes before the House and the Senate.”

‘Rewrite the Rules’: Trump Store’s 2028 Merch Ignites Third Term Speculation

The official Trump store listed new hats and shirts with the phrase “Trump 2028” across the front, causing the left to lose their minds! Is the president actually teasing the possibility of a third term run or is he just trolling the left to get a rise?

The $50 hats come in the traditional Trump red and has “Trump 2028” in place of the usual “Make America Great Again” slogan. To top it off, the site features a photo of Eric Trump, the oldest son of Donald Trump, wearing the hat.

The shirts also don “Trump 2028” with the phrase “Rewrite the rules” written underneath.

There are a couple of scenarios that would make a Trump 2028 campaign possible, despite the 22nd Amendment. If someone else runs for president with Trump as their vice president, and then step down after the election, that would put Donny J back in the limelight. OR, maybe another Trump legacy could be eyeing a run? Eric, perhaps?

Last month, Axios reported that Trump is “not joking” about serving a third term, which would require a two-thirds vote from Congress.

While Trump later told reporters he’s not looking at the scenario now, he first told NBC “there are methods” by which he could make it happen.

The 22nd amendment clearly states that “no person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice.”

Though Trump suggested his path back to the White House could be on the coattails of a JD Vance victory, top Republicans on the Hill shrugged off the third-term chatter.

Will Trump REALLY gun for a third term? Who knows. This will be an interesting scenario to see played out in the future, no matter which way the pendulum swings.

Washington Raises Hunting, Fishing Fees by 38%, First Hike Since 2011

0

Washington State will increase hunting and fishing license fees by 38% starting July 1st, the first increase since 2011. The hike, proposed by Senator Marko Liias to address a $16 billion budget shortfall, aims to preserve the state’s natural landscape. Critics argue the increase, which will impact families relying on hunting and fishing for food, could be mitigated by alternative funding sources.

The Center Square reports:

For the first time in over a decade, families that hunt and fish to put food on the table will see the price of that license increase on July 1 — a 38% “inflationary adjustment” — raising the average cost by more than $16.

The Washington State Legislature gave its final approval on Wednesday after House Democrats passed Senate Bill 5583 off the floor without any amendments. Supporters argue that the hike is necessary to preserve the state’s natural landscape, but critics point the blame at Democrat spending.

Sen. Marko Liias, D-Edmonds, proposed the 38% jump amid a $16 billion shortfall. The majority turned to tax increases to fill the gap, hoping to avoid cuts that Republicans favor to keep the cost of living down.

Representing the largest, most rural district, Rep. Hunter Abell, R-Inchelium, said the “sticker shock” from the first increase since 2011 could make it harder for people to feed their families.

“My district is unique,” Abell testified on the House floor. “For many of my constituents, hunting and fishing is not just a form of cultural activity or an activity you do for fun or for a hobby. It’s a matter of subsistence. It’s a matter of putting food on the table for the family members.”

Democrats rejected amendments that would have phased in the increase by 2029, maintained the current prices for low-income individuals, eliminated future surcharges, increased bag limits, granted free licenses to veterans and allocated a portion of the revenue to wildlife studies.

According to the final bill report, the average increase across the eight types of licenses will cost $16.34. The most significant change is to the package with tags for deer, elk, bear and cougar, which currently costs residents $85 but will rise to $117.30 in July 2025, a $32.30 jump.

A combination fishing license, valid for saltwater and freshwater fishing, currently costs $45.50 and will soon increase to $62.49, a $17.29 difference. Conservation Northwest, a nonprofit that restores native habitats, says SB 5583 addresses a “compounding challenge.”

“Costs have outpaced revenues for too long,” CNW Communications Manager Andrea Wolf told The Center Square. “At the same time, this underscores the urgent need for more stable, diversified funding to support an agency that serves all Washingtonians.”

Wolf said the fees will hit some families harder and reaffirmed a commitment to working with the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife to identify a way to reduce the burden in the future.

Senior citizens, or individuals at least 70 years old, will pay reduced rates under SB 5583. Liias included a provision that offers them a 66% discount. Under that rate, seniors would pay $39.88 for the standard big game combination package and $21.39 for the combination fishing license.

The Senate passed SB 5583 last month with a 25-24 vote that saw five Democrats break from the majority to vote with Republicans against the 38% increase. Seven others from the majority also voted with House Republicans against it on Wednesday, passing by a 51-46 floor vote.

Rep. Mia Gregerson, D-SeaTac, said Republicans aren’t alone; her family also hunts and fishes.

“Over 31 million people since 2020 have enjoyed these activities,” Gregerson said, “but inflation does continue to go up. These fees have not gone up. It is time to do that. We are in a budget crisis, and we do need to tighten our belts and be responsible, and this is part of that.”

Despite bipartisan opposition, enough of the majority held strong, driving SB 5583 across the finish line. Assuming Gov. Bob Ferguson signs the bill into law, hunters and fishers will face the first fee increase since 2011, potentially pushing the sports out of reach for some families who use it to put food on the table.

WATCH: Homan Calls on Congress to Raise Asylum Threshold at Border

On Thursday, Border Czar Tom Homan appeared on NewsNation’s Cuomo and called on Congress to make necessary immigration law changes – including raising the threshold for asylum claims at the border, detaining families for 40 days, and allowing for quicker removal of children from other countries.

Homan declared, “I hope Congress could make some changes. They need to make changes, right? Because what concerns me is, every four years, a new president comes along, issue[s] brand-new executive orders to undo what the previous president did. I wish they’d settle this. Congress could fix three laws that would take 85% of the problem away from the border.”

The czar explained, “When you come across the border, you make a claim to asylum, the threshold’s very low, on purpose, because they don’t want to send someone back to be persecuted [in] their homeland. But it’s too low. So, the cartels, they’ll teach them a few key phrases to say and claim and they pass that first interview, but then they get to court — if they go to court — the threshold, much, much higher.”

Homan said, “The second thing is the Flores Settlement Agreement” which would allow the government to detain families for 40 days. “If you’re really escaping fear and persecution in your homeland, you shouldn’t have a problem sitting in an open-air family residential center for 40 days and have the judge hear your case.”

He added, “Finally, the Trafficking Victims Protection Act, … the law says this, if you’re a child from Mexico and you come across the border by yourself and we ascertain, through investigation, that you’re not a victim of trafficking, you’re coming across to meet with a family member, whatever, you’re a victim of trafficking, you can be immediately removed to your homeland and back to your family. But if you’re from — and that’s for Mexico and Canada — but if you’re from any other country in the world, we can’t simply return you. You’ve got this multi-year process. So, … treat children all over the world the same as we treat children from Mexico.”

Rep. Walsh Eyes Ways to Bring DOGE to Washington State

0

Rep. Jim Walsh introduced House Bill 2076, which would create the Washington Department of Government Efficiency (WA DOGE) to audit state agencies and identify inefficiencies. The proposed department, inspired by President Trump’s federal DOGE, would withhold 6% of agency funding pending review and could reapportion funds if agencies fail to cooperate. Walsh acknowledges the bill’s challenges in the current session but hopes it will gain traction in the next session or as a potential initiative.

The Center Square reports:

Rep. Jim Walsh, R-Aberdeen, has introduced House Bill 2076 that would create the Washington Department of Government Efficiency, or WA DOGE, to identify outdated rules, eliminate waste and crack down on agencies operating beyond their legal authority.

The proposed department is inspired by President Donald Trump’s federal Department of Government Efficiency helmed by Elon Musk.

On Saturday, HB 2076 was referred to the House State Government & Tribal Relations Committee.

Walsh, who also serves as the chair of the Washington State Republican Party, is not holding his breath that his bill will advance this session as majority party Democrats focus on revenue-generating proposals to fill a projected $16 billion operating budget shortfall over the next four years.

“The WA DOGE bill creates a temporary agency within state government, and the purpose of the agency is to do a really thorough audit of agencies,” he said. “Think in terms of Department of Ecology, L&I, Department of Commerce, Department of Health.”

The Center Square emailed the office of Rep. Sharlett Mena, D-Tacoma, who chairs the House Government & Tribal Relations Committee, to inquire if the bill would receive a public hearing, but it did not receive a response.

During a Tuesday interview, Walsh said Republicans are aware of inefficiencies in state agencies that should be addressed immediately, especially given that most Democrats are suggesting huge tax increases are unavoidable to balance the budget.

“Volunteer agencies, some using the DOGE name, have already been digging in,” said Walsh, who noted early findings show plenty of room for improvement. “Things that look like crony capitalism, grant grifting, these sorts of things.”

For example, what started out as a spontaneous on-air comment by KVI conservative radio talk show host Ari Hoffman has turned into “Washington State DOGE,” where everyday citizens can act as watchdogs.

Walsh said WA DOGE, as crafted in HB 2076, would operate much differently than Trump’s DOGE.

“At the federal level, DOGE is an advisory agency to the president. The WA DOGE agency is a legislative creature, and it operates under the wing of the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Committee, and the proposal gives the state agency a little more real teeth than the federal one,” he noted. “Federal DOGE just researches and then reports, and it’s up to the President to take action. WA DOGE gives the state more power.”

Walsh explained that HB 2076, as drafted, withholds some agency funding pending the outcome of WA DOGE investigations.

“It withholds 6% of each of the state agencies budgets for the upcoming two-year cycle in reserve, in kind of an escrow account, pending the completion of the WA DOGE review of that agency’s operations,” he said. “If it passes, then the 6% gets released back to the agency. If it doesn’t cooperate and participate, and it doesn’t pass the review, then the 6% stays withheld and could be reapportioned.”

Report: Zelensky Reneges on Trump Peace Plan

0

According to reports, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is rejecting the peace plan previously announced by the Trump administration. Planned peace talks in London on Wednesday were also downgraded once it became clear that Zelensky was not the same page.

Last week in Paris, U.S. negotiators suggested a possible deal to help end the war. Part of the deal would mean that the U.S. officially accepts that Russia owns Crimea, a region Russia has controlled since 2014 and has long considered part of its influence.

In return, Russia would have to agree to stop fighting where the battle lines are now. Even though Russian President Vladimir Putin says that four eastern parts of Ukraine—Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk, and Zaporizhzhia—belong to Russia, his army doesn’t fully control all of them.

So, if this deal happened, Russia would have to give up some land it claims is theirs. The Financial Times says Putin might be open to the idea, but the Russian government hasn’t officially confirmed anything yet.

Breitbart reports:

Despite the Ukrainian military having failed to reclaim Crimea over the past decade, or indeed the four occupied provinces over the past three years, President Zelensky said on Tuesday evening that conceding any territory is out of the question, saying: “There is nothing to talk about – it is our land, the land of the Ukrainian people.”

Speaking from India on Wednesday, U.S. Vice President JD Vance said that the “Ukrainians and the Russians are both going to have to give up some of the territory they currently own” for a deal to work. Failing that, the VP warned, the U.S. is willing to withdraw from negotiations.

“We’ve issued a very explicit proposal to both the Russians and the Ukrainians, and it’s time for them to either say ‘yes’, or for the United States to walk away from this process,” Vance said.

The “final offer” proposed to Kyiv and Moscow included a clause that Ukraine would not become a member of the NATO military alliance, led by the United States. However, Ukraine would be allowed to join the European Union.

The deal also offered Russia “enhanced economic cooperation with the U.S., particularly in the energy and industrial sectors,” Axios reports. Last but not least, sanctions imposed on Moscow in 2014 would be lifted.

Trump responded to Zelensky on Wednesday, posting to Truth Social, “Crimea was lost years ago under the auspices of President Barack Hussein Obama, and is not even a point of discussion. Nobody is asking Zelenskyy to recognize Crimea as Russian Territory but, if he wants Crimea, why didn’t they fight for it eleven years ago when it was handed over to Russia without a shot being fired?”

Trump continued, “The area also houses, for many years before ‘the Obama handover,’ major Russian submarine bases. It’s inflammatory statements like Zelenskyy’s that makes it so difficult to settle this War. He has nothing to boast about! The situation for Ukraine is dire — He can have Peace or, he can fight for another three years before losing the whole Country. I have nothing to do with Russia, but have much to do with wanting to save, on average, five thousand Russian and Ukrainian soldiers a week, who are dying for no reason whatsoever.”

He added, “The statement made by Zelenskyy today will do nothing but prolong the ‘killing field,’ and nobody wants that! We are very close to a Deal, but the man with ‘no cards to play’ should now, finally, GET IT DONE. I look forward to being able to help Ukraine, and Russia, get out of this Complete and Total MESS, that would have never started if I were President!”
