Trump’s Labor Department Slashes $13.6M in Woke DEI Grants

The Department of Labor (DOL) and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) have pulled the plug on 25 diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) grants, saving taxpayers a whopping $13.6 million. These grants were set to fund so-called “inclusive environments” for “gender-expansive people” and other left-wing pet projects.

On Tuesday, the DOL and DOGE announced the cuts, which included $716,000 for DEIA materials, training modules, and support networks; $398,000 for gender equity awareness training; and $350,000 earmarked for programs in migrant communities.

A source familiar with the matter said the grants also included funding for several controversial initiatives. One was an “equity summit” designed to create workplace environments tailored for women and “gender-expansive people,” especially those of color, with disabilities or neurodivergence, and people identifying as transgender or underrepresented in tech.

Another cut program targeted underrepresented communities in Greater Houston, Texas, including women of color, immigrant women, transgender women, and justice-involved women. In Mississippi, funds were set aside for a pre-apprentice program and “nontraditional job training” for women, transgender women, and non-binary individuals in the Gulf Coast region.

Pittsburgh and southwestern Pennsylvania were also set to receive DEI grants to expand workforce recruitment efforts for women of color, LGBTQI+ individuals, and other so-called “marginalized” groups. One canceled project even aimed to address climate change and its “racial, social, and economic” impacts on vulnerable communities.

This isn’t the first time the Trump administration has axed wasteful spending. In March, the DOL canceled $577 million in what officials called “America Last” contracts. These included $12.2 million for “worker empowerment” programs in South America and $6.25 million for “improving respect for workers’ rights” in Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador.

DOGE also confirmed other scrapped international grants: $3 million for “safe and inclusive” workspaces in Lesotho; $3 million for migrant worker protections in Bangladesh; $4.3 million for foreign labor assistance in Malaysia; and $5 million to promote “women’s participation” in West Africa.

DOL Spokesperson Courtney Parella summed it up in a statement to Breitbart News:
“We want to focus on getting more women into good-paying jobs based on merit — not funding discriminatory DEI experiments that elevate gender ideology over the real challenges women face in the workforce.”

Under President Trump, the message is clear: merit over ideology, results over rhetoric, and America First—always.

RINO Alert: DeWine Begs Ohio GOP to Snub Ramaswamy

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine is once again clashing with the conservative base—this time by reportedly asking the Ohio Republican Party not to endorse businessman Vivek Ramaswamy in the upcoming race for governor, according to NBC News.

Sources told the outlet that DeWine and his advisors are working behind closed doors to keep Ramaswamy from getting the party’s official backing. That move puts DeWine at odds with GOP leadership in Washington and with some of the biggest names in conservative politics.

Ramaswamy, a successful entrepreneur and political outsider, announced in February that he’s running for governor in 2026. DeWine can’t run again due to term limits. Soon after entering the race, Ramaswamy gained the support of President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and tech mogul Elon Musk.

Trump didn’t hold back in his endorsement, posting: “VIVEK RAMASWAMY is running for Governor of the Great State of Ohio. I know him well, competed against him, and he is something SPECIAL. He’s Young, Strong, and Smart! Vivek is also a very good person, who truly loves our Country.”

This isn’t the first time DeWine has gone against Trump. During the 2024 Senate primary, Trump backed Bernie Moreno—who went on to win—while DeWine threw his support behind state Sen. Matt Dolan, who lost.

When asked for comment on the GOP primary, DeWine’s spokesperson tried to dodge the issue, saying they’re focused on the state’s budget right now. “As far as who I endorse in the Republican primary for Governor, it is much too early, as we do not even know who all will be in the race,” DeWine said. “We are now 364 days away from the primary and 293 days away from the filing deadline. In politics, this is a lifetime!”

But folks close to Ramaswamy aren’t buying it. One ally called DeWine out for constantly opposing Trump and conservative priorities. “If Trump backs you, DeWine’s guaranteed to take the losing side,” the Ramaswamy insider said.

They added: “The establishment isn’t just out of touch — it’s out of time. And the state central committee will prove that again this Friday.”

With Trump, Vance, and Musk in his corner, Ramaswamy has serious momentum. And if DeWine thinks he can stop that train, he might be in for a rude awakening—because the grassroots isn’t going back to business-as-usual.

Rubio Orders State Department to Shut Down Office of Palestinian Affairs

In a move to restore order and clarity to U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East, Secretary of State Marco Rubio has directed the Department of State to shut down the Office of Palestinian Affairs (OPA) and merge its operations back into the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem.

According to reports, this shift brings U.S. diplomacy in Israel back in line with the successful model first implemented under President Donald Trump.

Tammy Bruce, spokesperson for the Department of State, confirmed the news during a congressional hearing, stating that U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee would lead the process. “This decision will restore the first Trump term framework of a unified US diplomatic mission in Israel’s capital that reports to the US ambassador to Israel,” Bruce said. “Ambassador (Mike) Huckabee will take the steps necessary to implement the merger over the coming weeks.”

She emphasized that the decision is part of a larger effort to streamline operations and eliminate unnecessary bureaucratic silos. “It really is actually very similar to what’s happening here with the bureaus, with our reorganization,” Bruce explained. “It is making sure that the issues that are important are all working together right, are not segmented out so that the interests of the embassy — very, very much like the interests of our foreign aid and other actions — can work together in the Bureau as one entity.”

The Office of Palestinian Affairs, created by the Biden administration in 2022, operated independently of the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem—against Israel’s wishes and in potential violation of the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995. That law requires a single, unified U.S. diplomatic presence in Israel’s capital.

According to the Washington Free Beacon, the OPA quickly gained a reputation for pushing anti-Israel rhetoric and policies that frustrated many Republican lawmakers. During Hamas’s brutal terror attack on Israel on October 7, the office infamously called for Israel to “refrain from retaliation”—a move that shocked allies and drew bipartisan criticism.

Multiple Republican leaders applauded Rubio’s decision. Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-NY) praised the move as a long-overdue correction: “The Biden administration’s Office of Palestinian Affairs undermined Israel & emboldened Hamas,” she wrote on X. “Thank you, @SecRubio & @USAmbIsrael, for dissolving this entity & reaffirming the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem as the sole diplomatic mission in Jerusalem as required by law.”

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) echoed the sentiment, stating: “The U.S.-Israeli relationship should be handled exclusively by the appointed representatives at our Embassy in Jerusalem, not by anti-Israel activists working with the terrorist-supporting Palestinian Authority.”

Sen. Dave McCormick (R-PA) was even more direct, writing: “The Biden State Department violated federal law to open the OPA and it only served to sabotage Israel at every turn in the wake of Hamas’s terror attacks. This is the correct move by President Trump, Secretary Rubio, and Ambassador Huckabee to support our great ally and reverse the previous administration’s undermining of Israel.”

This development brings the U.S. back to the strong, pro-Israel stance it held under President Trump, who officially moved the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem on May 14, 2018. “Today we follow through on this recognition and open our embassy in the historic and sacred land of Jerusalem and we’re opening it many, many years ahead of schedule,” Trump said in his address at the time.

With this decisive action, Rubio and Huckabee are sending a clear message: the United States stands with Israel, and there’s no room for rogue diplomacy that undercuts our closest ally in the Middle East.

Trump Offers to Help India, Pakistan: ‘I Want to See Them Stop’

President Donald Trump said he’s more than willing to step in and help India and Pakistan put an end to their latest spat.

Following a round of strikes early Wednesday, where India launched missiles at no less than nine sites reportedly linked to terrorism, Trump made it clear he’s keeping his eye on the situation. According to India’s Defense Ministry, these locations were hotbeds where attacks against India were being cooked up. Pakistan, on the other hand, is crying foul—claiming at least 26 people, including women and children, were killed and labeling the strikes an “act of war.”

Cue Trump, stepping up to the mic, “Oh, it’s so terrible. My position is, I get along with both,” he told reporters Wednesday. “I know both very well, and I want to see them work it out. I want to see them stop. And hopefully they can stop now. They’ve got a tit for tat, so hopefully they can stop now. But I know both. We get along with both countries very well. Good relationships with both. And I want to see it stop. And if I can do anything to help I will. I will be there as well.”

In other words, Trump’s not picking sides—he’s ready to roll up his sleeves and play peacemaker if needed. Because let’s be honest, when the world starts throwing punches, it’s often the U.S. (under real leadership) that’s called in to clean up the mess.

This round of fireworks comes after tensions between the two nations went through the roof back in April. A gunman opened fire in the Indian-controlled side of Kashmir, killing 26 people—mostly Hindu tourists. India pointed the finger straight at Pakistan, and not long after, a militant group linked to Pakistan took credit.

In response to India’s strike, Pakistan claims it shot down five Indian fighter jets. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif wasted no time issuing a bold statement: “Pakistan has every right to give a robust response to this act of war imposed by India, and a strong response is indeed being given.”

Sen. Lankford Says Illegals SHOULD Get Due Process (WATCH)

On Tuesday, Senator James Lankford popped up on CNN’s The Arena and dropped a little truth bomb that some folks on the Left might find hard to swallow: yes, even illegal immigrants get due process—before they’re deported. Shocking, right?

It all kicked off when host Kasie Hunt brought up President Trump’s weekend sit-down on Meet the Press. She tried to stir drama by saying, “President Trump sat down for an extensive interview with Kristen Welker at ‘Meet the Press’ over the weekend. She asked him whether he would uphold the Constitution in providing due process to people who are deported and his answer was not yes. Are you confident that President Trump will uphold the Constitution?”

Lankford, cool as ever, responded, “I am. I think his answer was, I’ve got good attorneys advising me on all those things, and they’re going to make sure they get it right. What’s been confusing on this is some people see due process like us as American citizens, and that’s a right to a jury trial, that’s all those different things. That’s not true for due process for someone who’s not a citizen of the United States. It’s a different process. It’s often just literally what people call an immigration judge, which is not a typical federal judge or a state judge; this is someone that’s in the bureaucracy.”

In other words: calm down. Illegal immigrants aren’t being whisked away in the dead of night without a chance to say a word—but they’re also not entitled to the same courtroom experience as citizens.

Lankford wrapped it up clearly: “So there is a very different process for it, but yes, there is a need to give an opportunity for someone to be able to make an argument before they are removed from the country.”

So yes, due process exists. But let’s not pretend deportation hearings are the same as your average Law & Order episode. There’s a difference between protecting rights and just plain chaos at the border. Lankford’s just saying what the Constitution actually means—something more people in D.C. could try.

Rep. Crockett Claps Back After Trump Calls Her “Low IQ” — But Did She Just Prove His Point?

Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) strutted into CNN on Monday like she was ready for a showdown, saying Democrats need to “go after” President Donald Trump “for the good of the entirety of the country.”

This all started after Trump threw some classic shade during his Sunday sit-down on Meet the Press. Talking about the Democratic mess, he said, “They’ve got this new person named Crockett. I watched her speak the other day. She’s definitely a low IQ person. They said she’s the future of the party. I said, you’ve got to be kidding.” Honestly, not his most diplomatic moment—but tell me where the lie is.

Crockett, clearly rattled, fired back on CNN. She declared, “The fact that you just got done engaging in a conversation where we have a President of the United States who has no idea about the oath that he just took on January 20th, tells me everything that I need know. He didn’t even have good sense enough in that same interview to say something as simple as, yes, I will follow the Constitution.”

Even CNN’s Jake Tapper tried to toss her a softball: Do you think you’re the future of the Democratic Party? Instead of answering directly, Crockett dodged like she was in gym class, saying we need people “unafraid and willing to go after this administration.”

She wrapped up, “I want to make sure that we are shining a light on all the darkness that they are bringing to our country.” Okay, but the lights have been on, and it’s the Democrats who’ve been flipping the switch back to off!

Hochul Finally Realizes Crime Is a Problem — Welcome to Reality, Governor

On Monday’s CNN News Central, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul basically admitted what everyone with common sense has known for years: Democrats have been totally asleep at the wheel when it comes to crime. Not just in the 2024 election—for years. Shocker!

Hochul said New Yorkers care about two main things: safety and—wait for it—feeling safe. Imagine that! People just want to ride the subway or walk down the street without worrying if today’s the day they get mugged. So now she’s suddenly talking about more cops, more money to fight guns, and helping rural police too? Where was this energy beforethe streets turned into Gotham?

She told CNN, “Don’t be afraid to talk about fighting crime.” Uh, Governor? Conservatives have been yelling that from the rooftops while y’all were too busy worrying about pronouns and plastic straws.

When asked if ignoring crime was one of the Democrats’ big election flops, Hochul admitted, “Well, for many years.” That’s politician-speak for: “Yeah, we totally dropped the ball.”

And then came the classic political pivot—“We’ll still protect defendants’ rights, of course.” Sure, sure. But now she’s bragging about changing the law so violent criminals don’t just waltz out of court on technicalities. Finally. Guess even blue-state leaders can only ignore reality for so long before voters get fed up.

Bottom line: It took rising crime, angry citizens, and embarrassing election losses, but Democrats are starting to talk tough on crime. Let’s just hope it’s not too little, too late.

Trim the Fat: Rep. Donalds Says Medicaid Should Focus on Disabled and Poor Kids, Not the Able-Bodied

On Monday’s Balance of Power on Bloomberg, Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) said what a lot of us are thinking: it’s high time we stopped handing out gold-plated Medicaid to able-bodied adults who could be working and earning their own way.

First, Donalds laid it out plain and simple—Medicaid is full of waste, fraud, and abuse. And guess what? His team’s got plans to clean it up.

Then he got to the juicy part. Right now, because of Obamacare (surprise, surprise), poor kids and people with disabilities only get about 50% of their Medicaid bills covered by the federal government. But if you’re a healthy adult who could totally hold a job? You’re getting 90% covered. NINETY. That’s nearly double—and it makes zero sense.

Donalds isn’t having it. He says it’s time to bring those able-bodied freeloaders down to earth and in line with the folks who actually need the help—like struggling families with disabled kids. “That’s just basic common sense,” he said. And he’s right.

He declared, “We do have a situation where, currently, under Medicaid, because of Obamacare, poor children, people who are disabled, they actually only get about a 50% reimbursement with state money from the federal government. But if you’re an able-bodied adult who can go into the economy, get a job, earn money, and have your own health care, we reimburse at a 90% clip from the federal government. That doesn’t make any sense. So, it’s about actually bringing that able-bodied population to be closer to be in line with poor children in America, people who are disabled and are hurting in America.”

But he didn’t stop there. Byron dropped a truth bomb on D.C.: This kind of reckless spending is pushing America deeper into debt. All this borrowing is jacking up interest rates and crushing small businesses and working families. Washington can’t keep living on a credit card—and Donalds says it’s past time to get our fiscal house in order.

The Florida Rep added, “That’s just basic, common sense. I think, on a broader level, it is about lowering the cost curve here in Washington, D.C. We can’t continue to borrow at the same velocity of federal bonds, because that is driving up interest rates and borrowing costs on families and on small businesses. It’s not sustainable, Washington has to get the fiscal house in order.”

Trump Admin: Self-Deport and Get $1,000 — No Drama, Just Leave

In a move that has liberals clutching their pearls, the Trump administration announced it’s offering $1,000 to illegal immigrants who voluntarily return to their home countries — and yes, the government will even help cover the travel costs. Welcome to the age of common sense immigration policy.

According to a statement from the Department of Homeland Security on Monday, migrants in the U.S. illegally can now notify the government through the CBP Home app that they plan to head home. In return, they’ll be “deprioritized” for detention or removal — aka, they get to skip the handcuffs and the headlines if they choose to leave peacefully.

“If you are here illegally, self-deportation is the best, safest, and most cost-effective way to leave the United States to avoid arrest,” said DHS Secretary Kristi Noem. “DHS is now offering illegal aliens financial travel assistance and a stipend to return to their home country through the CBP Home App.”

Translation: break our laws, and we’ll give you a one-way ticket home — no drama, no dragging your kids through the court system, and no ICE knocking at your door at 4 a.m. Seems fair, doesn’t it?

President Trump has made law and order immigration a key focus of his administration — and mass deportations aren’t cheap. So while he’s pushing Congress to beef up ICE resources, he’s also offering a smarter option: take the money, go home, skip the cuffs.

It’s a win-win. Taxpayers save money, ICE saves time, and illegal immigrants avoid a scene. But don’t expect the media to cheer it — they’re too busy pretending the word “illegal” doesn’t mean anything anymore.
