Either use the money to make AMERICAN lives better – like better infrastructure, healthier food, and care for homeless veterans – or stop taking our money!

This transition has been in the works for several years. Back in 2019, Michigan Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist signed a bill amending the Animal Industry Act to ensure that all egg-laying hens in the state are kept out of cages. He was stepping in for Michigan Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer at the time. Now, five years later, industry representatives assert that egg producers have made necessary preparations for these changes.

Nancy Barr, executive director of Michigan Allied Poultry Industries, expressed confidence in their readiness: “Our producers are ready. They’ve spent a lot of time and money getting there but they are committed to the cage-free housing for all of their hens and pullets,” she stated to MLive.com. Meanwhile, Tim Boring from the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development mentioned that agency employees will work diligently to ensure compliance with these new regulations.

Boring also noted that there have been no major reports of egg supply issues amid these regulatory shifts. Other officials within Michigan have been preparing for these changes over recent months as well. For instance, Democratic Attorney General Dana Nessel reached out to SpartanNash—a prominent grocer based in Michigan—urging them to implement clear signage indicating whether certain eggs come from caged hens.

“Every consumer deserves to feel confident about the food they put on their dinner table,” Nessel emphasized in her letter sent last July. Her office supports cage-free systems due to their generally better living conditions for hens compared to traditional battery cages which pose public health, environmental, and animal welfare concerns.

However, as this policy is set to roll out soon, some individuals remain worried about its impact on prices. Egg costs have already surged by 91% in the Midwest as of November compared with last year’s figures during the same period. Cage-free eggs typically cost about 45 cents more than those from chickens raised in cages according to MLive.com.

Wikstrom’s campaign team conducted investigations by contacting utility companies like Xcel Energy and Comcast to verify service connections at Johnson’s purported residence. They found no accounts set up for either service at his Roseville apartment. Additionally, campaign staff inspected the apartment and noted it appeared unused, with dust covering surfaces undisturbed.

This decision represents a HUGE setback for Governor Tim Walz and Minnesota Democrats who anticipated maintaining control over the state legislature. With this ruling, Republicans have an opportunity to gain control of the Minnesota House, potentially complicating his legislative agenda during his second term. Currently, Republicans hold a slim majority with 67 seats compared to Democrats’ 66.

Governor Walz has faced mounting criticism recently due partly due his role as Kamala Harris’s vice-presidential running mate during their unsuccessful campaign against Trump-Vance ticket last election cycle. Many Americans viewed him performing poorly on debate stage missing opportunities challenge opponent effectively.

In his article for The Bulwark, Stein highlighted that the revised funding bill significantly impacted efforts against pediatric cancer. According to him, the bill removed provisions allowing children with relapsed cancer to receive combined drug treatments, which are currently limited by FDA regulations to single-drug trials.

“But some of the hardest cuts to swallow involved medical research,” Stein wrote. “In particular, advocates say, the revised funding bill delivered a devastating blow to the fight against pediatric cancer. The slimmed-down version was stripped of language that would have allowed children with relapsed cancer to undergo treatments with a combination of cancer drugs and therapies. (Currently the Food and Drug Administration is only authorized to direct pediatric cancer trials of single drugs.)”

He continued, “The bill also didn’t include an extension of a program that gave financial lifelines, in the form of vouchers, to small pharmaceutical companies working on rare pediatric diseases. It was also missing earlier provisions that would have allowed for kids on Medicaid or CHIP—that is, poor children—to access medically complex care across state lines.”

Here’s where his narrative fell apart though: House Republicans ALREADY passed a standalone bill for the pediatric funding…..which happened MONTHS ago. Yet Senate Democrats refuse to bring to a vote.

It’s appalling to witness degenerates glorifying Luigi Mangione for cowardly shooting a man in the back, showcasing the moral decay that has seeped into our society under Democratic influence. Now we have psycho’s showing up at people’s houses to kill them because the don’t agree with them.

Lyons, who allegedly murdered three family members, traveled an astonishing 140 miles to target Fuentes at his home. This brazen act underscores the threat posed by those emboldened by liberal ideologies that dismiss law and order.

Fuentes was live streaming when Lyons showed up a his front door, a move that likely saved his life from this unhinged attacker.

When officers arrived on the scene, Lyons fled and forcibly entered another person’s home. In a heinous act of violence, he shot and killed two dogs inside before leaving and recklessly firing multiple shots at police officers. The brave officers responded appropriately, neutralizing the threat by shooting and killing Lyons.

The tragic loss of 26-year-old Sara Mason, 61-year-old Janis L. Mason, and 23-year-old Caleb M. Mason earlier that day is a stark reminder of the chaos unleashed when lawlessness is tolerated.

Despite thinking Fuentes is a pretty crappy person himself, I would never wish death on someone just because I disliked them.

The new bill, now a concise 116 pages compared to yesterday’s bloated 1547 pages, wisely excludes any congressional pay raises. This is a significant win for Republicans and the American people, as President Trump triumphantly highlighted.

Trump took to Truth Social to declare, “SUCCESS in Washington! Speaker Mike Johnson and the House have come to a very good Deal for the American People. The newly agreed to American Relief Act of 2024 will keep the Government open, fund our Great Farmers and others, and provide relief for those severely impacted by the devastating hurricanes.”

He emphasized the importance of this legislation by stating, “A VERY important piece, VITAL to the America First Agenda, was added as well – The date of the very unnecessary Debt Ceiling will be pushed out two years, to January 30, 2027. Now we can Make America Great Again, very quickly, which is what the People gave us a mandate to accomplish.”

In his call to action, Trump urged all lawmakers to prioritize America’s interests: “All Republicans, and even the Democrats, should do what is best for our Country, and vote “YES” for this bill, TONIGHT!”
