‘Squad’ Congresswoman Explodes as Scott Jennings Exposes DEI Chaos in LAFD!

As the Los Angeles wildfires continue to rage uncontrollably into their second day, discussions are intensifying around the city’s political push towards diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within its fire department. The LAFD, one of the largest fire departments in the nation, is at the center of this debate.

Scott Jennings, a prominent conservative commentator on CNN, sparked a heated exchange with Dem. Congresswoman Jamie Crockett, a member of the “Squad”. Jennings pointed out recent reports suggesting that the Los Angeles mayor aimed to appoint an entirely LGBTQ leadership team for the fire department. He recalled past news stories criticizing California’s firefighting workforce as being too dominated by white men and suggested there was a push to change that demographic makeup. During a live panel discussion, Jennings questioned whether DEI initiatives and budget cuts were taking precedence over essential firefighting capabilities, wondering aloud if residents cared about firefighters’ backgrounds when their homes were burning.

Conservative voices have specifically targeted L.A. Fire Chief Kristin Crowley, who identifies as lesbian, along with Mayor Karen Bass. Critics argue that these leaders prioritize DEI policies over effective fire prevention strategies amidst devastating wildfires that have claimed five lives and destroyed over 2,000 structures in Los Angeles County. Megyn Kelly joined Jennings in criticizing the LAFD’s focus on diversity during her show Wednesday. She expressed disbelief that diversity appeared to be prioritized over ensuring operational readiness like filling fire hydrants with water—a critical issue highlighted by local news reports where firefighters encountered dry hydrants. Kelly’s frustration was palpable as she questioned whether personal attributes such as sexual orientation should overshadow core competencies like fighting fires and maintaining basic firefighting infrastructure.

Crockett dismissed criticisms of DEI at LAFD as distractions from more pressing issues. She emphasized that focusing on qualifications rather than demographics has always been at the heart of DEI efforts—encouraging broader opportunities beyond just white males. Crockett highlighted an article stating Black women are currently among America’s most educated demographics to underscore her point about opening doors based on merit rather than ethnicity or gender alone.

NEW: Judge Slams Fani Willis with Massive Fine – Justice Served!

0

Fani Willis, the District Attorney of Fulton County, Georgia, finds herself in hot water after a judge ordered her to pay $21,578 in attorney’s fees and litigation costs. This ruling comes as a result of her office’s failure to adhere to Georgia’s Open Records Act (ORA). The decision was handed down by Judge Robert McBurney following a legal battle initiated by Judicial Watch, an organization that sought access to Willis’s communications with Special Counsel Jack Smith and the House January 6 Committee.

The issue began in August 2023 when Judicial Watch filed a request under the ORA. Initially, Willis’s office claimed no relevant records existed. However, evidence found by Judicial Watch suggested otherwise, leading them to file a lawsuit in March 2024. Court documents reveal that Willis’s office repeatedly denied having any responsive documents even after the lawsuit was underway. It wasn’t until December 2, 2024, that the DA’s office conducted what they called a “diligent search,” which suddenly uncovered records previously claimed not to exist. These records were then deemed exempt from disclosure by her office.

In one instance of compliance, Willis’s office provided Judicial Watch with a letter sent to the January 6 Committee. However, this letter had already been identified by Judicial Watch as improperly withheld. The unsigned and undated memo highlighted what the court saw as a clear violation of the ORA. Judge McBurney issued his order on January 3, criticizing how Willis handled the records request. He pointed out that her office did not search for any records until legally compelled to do so and even then failed to thoroughly examine emails or case files.

Judge McBurney expressed his concerns in his ruling: “This response was perplexing and eventually suspicious to Plaintiff,” he wrote after Judicial Watch discovered at least one document that should have been in possession of the District Attorney’s Office and responsive to their request. He concluded that Judicial Watch successfully proved both a violation of the ORA and an absence of “substantial justification” for such violations.

McBurney emphasized that non-compliance with ORA has consequences: “One of them can be liability for the requesting party’s attorney’s fees and costs of litigation.” To recover these fees under ORA, plaintiffs must show both a violation occurred and lacked substantial justification.

As a result, Willis has been ordered to pay $19,360 in attorney’s fees plus $2,218 in related litigation expenses within two weeks. The court also underscored troubling admissions from the DA’s Records Custodian who admitted under oath no search for records was conducted when Judicial Watch first submitted its request; instead responding with denials later proven false.

Donald Trump Jr. Visits Greenland: What Are They Planning Now?

Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of President-elect Donald Trump, made a notable visit to Greenland on Tuesday. Accompanied by a group of Trump supporters and former government officials, this trip highlighted Trump’s ongoing interest in acquiring the resource-rich territory from Denmark. This idea was first floated during Trump’s initial term in office and has gained renewed attention with his re-election.

Upon arriving in Nuuk, Greenland’s capital, Trump Jr. engaged with locals, explored cultural landmarks, and recorded an episode for his popular “Triggered” podcast on Rumble. His father shared a video of the plane landing on Truth Social, emphasizing the importance of safety and security for Greenland and expressing his hopes for making it part of America with phrases like “MAKE GREENLAND GREAT AGAIN!”

Joining Trump Jr. were Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA and a key figure in rallying votes during the 2024 election cycle, along with Sergio For from a pro-Trump political action committee. The delegation’s activities included meeting residents who supported the idea of U.S. acquisition. In one memorable moment at a café filled with people wearing red “Make America Great Again” hats, Trump Jr. called his father to speak via speakerphone. President-elect Trump assured them that Greenland would be well-treated if acquired by the U.S., emphasizing its strategic importance.

Trump reiterated these sentiments during a press conference, arguing that acquiring Greenland is crucial for national security due to its geographical location amid increasing global tensions involving China and Russia. He suggested that Denmark’s claim over Greenland might not be as solid as believed and urged for American control to ensure security.

Meanwhile, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has firmly stated that Denmark is not interested in selling Greenland. However, Greenland’s leader Múte Egede announced plans for independence through provisions outlined in their Self-Government Act. A draft constitution is already underway as they work towards becoming an independent state.

Egede has consistently rejected Trump’s acquisition plans but acknowledged steps toward greater autonomy from Denmark—such as building new international airports enabling direct flights from other countries without transiting through Denmark first—highlighting efforts to strengthen their self-governance.

While Egede remains opposed to selling Greenland to the U.S., an independence referendum could potentially open doors for future discussions about merging with America under different terms.

AWKWARD! GOP Senator’s Husband Snubs Kamala – Refuses to Shake Hand

0

Oh snap! Republican Senator Deb Fisher’s husband became an internet sensation overnight after he appears to refuse to shake Vice President Kamala Harris’ hand. In fact, many people started calling him their “spirit animal” and praising him for not wanting anything to do with Kamala.

Honestly, I can relate!

Trending Politics reports:

U.S. senators in the 119th Congress were sworn into office by Harris, who by constitutional law presides over the upper chamber and may cast the deciding vote in the event of a tie. Fischer, 73, has served in office since 2013 and has met Harris countless times over the past four years, especially given that the Democratic vice president now holds the record for casting more tie-breaking votes than any of her predecessors. However, the normally friendly affair turned icy after her husband Bruce Fischer glared at Harris over the Bible and turned down her outstretched hand, giving her a curt nod instead. Harris dropped her hand back down to their side as the trio posed for a photograph together. Bruce Fischer did not smile.

WATCH:

Honestly, Harris was a last ditch effort by Democrats and not a very good one at that. I think deep down they knew she didn’t stand a chance. Would you expect anything else after she polled as the most unpopular vice president in American history?? Her favorability did climb some, but clearly not enough.

Zuckerberg Ditches ‘Fact-Checking’—A Bold Move Against Censorship?

0

In a move that reflects Silicon Valley’s eagerness to mend ties with President-elect Donald Trump, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced on Tuesday that Facebook will be shutting down its “fact-checking” department later this month. This decision marks the end of a practice that has been controversial, especially among conservatives who felt silenced during the pandemic. Zuckerberg, 40, shared this news in a company-released video, while Joel Kaplan, Meta’s chief global affairs officer, appeared on “Fox & Friends” to provide further insights. In the video obtained by Fox News, Zuckerberg stated, “We’re going to get back to our roots and focus on reducing mistakes, simplifying our policies and restoring free expression on our platforms.” He added that fact-checkers will be replaced with Community Notes similar to X’s system in the U.S.

Kaplan emphasized on “Fox & Friends” that this change is aimed at bringing Facebook back to its core mission of promoting free speech. He echoed Zuckerberg’s sentiment by saying it’s an opportunity for them to reset the balance in favor of free expression. The inception of Facebook’s fact-checking program was largely due to concerns over Russian interference in the 2016 election. An FBI investigation revealed Russian actors used fake accounts or “bots” on Facebook to spread disinformation and incite discord before Election Day. Following these revelations, Zuckerberg had apologized before Congress for inadequate control over disinformation and data breaches like Cambridge Analytica’s incident.

Back then, Facebook faced significant political pressure to overhaul its oversight processes. As Kaplan explained on Fox News, they turned to independent third-party fact-checkers but soon realized there was too much political bias in their choices of what content to fact-check. Consequently, they are ending this process entirely and introducing a community-driven notes section similar to X’s approach.

Instead of relying on so-called experts who may have their own biases, the new system will depend on platform users providing commentary on content they’ve read. If a note garners broad user support, it can be attached for others to see. Kaplan believes this method is superior as it moves away from expert reliance towards community involvement.

Content moderation policies will also undergo changes since current practices are deemed “too restrictive,” limiting discussions around sensitive topics like immigration and gender issues. Kaplan told Fox News Digital that they aim for discourse without fear of censorship and are revising rules not just in theory but also in enforcement methods.

Automated systems previously used by Facebook often made errors by removing content that didn’t violate standards; however, certain topics such as terrorism or illegal activities will still be moderated carefully.

I wonder if this means all my so called violations will be taken off too….

Arizona DOGE Committee Announces Slashes to Non-Vital Resources!

And so it begins!! Arizona State Representative Alexander Kolodin recently used X to share news about potential budget cuts the state is considering under its “Department Of Government Efficiency” (DOGE) initiative. This state-level effort follows President-elect Donald Trump’s request for tech mogul Elon Musk and former Republican presidential candidate Elon Musk to suggest ways to reduce federal government waste and bureaucracy. The catchy “DOGE” name was coined by Musk himself.

In the recent elections, Republicans strengthened their hold on the Arizona legislature by gaining two additional seats in the State House. Arizona delivered Trump his largest victory margin among swing states after a narrow loss in 2020. The influence of Trump’s campaign alongside Charlie Kirk’s voter mobilization efforts with Turning Point USA significantly bolstered Conservative presence in the state.

Following Trump’s announcement of DOGE, Arizona Republicans swiftly established their own version of this committee focused on state issues. Arizona Senate President Warren Petersen explained that unlike its federal counterpart—an informal advisory body without legislative power—the Arizona DOGE committee was formed independently of the Executive Branch. Led by State Senator Shawnna Bolick, this committee will leverage legislative authority to evaluate bills and propose budget reductions.

Petersen emphasized that any matters involving red tape, regulations, fraud, or government inefficiency would be directed to this committee. He also mentioned collaboration with a similar group in the Arizona House of Representatives, set up by Speaker-elect Steve Montenegro and chaired by State Rep. Joseph Chaplik.

Both committees aim to push forward bills that have gained momentum over recent years as part of broader efforts to eliminate waste and excessive regulation in Arizona. Petersen hinted at potential legislation introducing term limits for lawmakers but withheld further details during an interview with 91.5 Phoenix.

On Tuesday, Kolodin announced that the Arizona DOGE committee is already active, discussing various cuts and specific legislative proposals. “When big government is drowning you,” he remarked before a whiteboard filled with plans, “we got to throw the book out.” He criticized regulatory bloat in Arizona as more absurd than at the federal level.

Kolodin then humorously listed several unusual initiatives currently funded by state money: “Citrus Research Council? Cuties, how do they work? Gone. Beef Research Council? Where’s the beef? More like where’s the pork? Cotton Research Council? School bus advisory council? Student Transport Advisory Council? Companion Animal Stay and Neuter Advisory Council? Sickos. Gone in this bill.” His comments seemed reminiscent of Argentinian President Javier Milei’s viral video where he dramatically removed government departments from a whiteboard list.

“This is a new Republican era,” Kolodin concluded after highlighting more examples of governmental excesses and inefficiencies.

Sunny Hostin’s Husband Faces Shocking Allegations in Explosive Lawsuit!

0

Sunny Hostin, a familiar face as a co-host on ABC’s The View, is now under the public spotlight for reasons beyond her television role. Her husband, Emmanuel Hostin, an orthopedic surgeon, has been named in a major lawsuit alleging professional misconduct. This legal case, which recently emerged into the public eye, accuses him of actions that could potentially damage his reputation and impact his family’s standing in both legal and medical communities. Emmanuel is among nearly 200 individuals caught up in one of New York’s largest RICO lawsuits.

The lawsuit claims that he and others accepted kickbacks for surgeries and falsely billed an insurance company covering taxi and ride-share drivers like Uber and Lyft. Filed on December 17th, it alleges that “Hostin knowingly provided fraudulent medical services,” including surgeries, then billed American Transit Insurance Company for these services in exchange for hidden payments disguised as dividends or other forms of compensation. In response to these serious allegations, Hostin’s lawyer, Daniel Thwaites, firmly stated to DailyMail that his client “denies each and every allegation” and criticized the lawsuit as a “blanket, scattershot, meritless lawsuit by a near-bankrupt insurance carrier.”

Thwaites argued that the lawsuit aims to intimidate doctors from claiming fees for treating American Transit’s insured clients. He emphasized Hostin’s unblemished professional record while condemning the company’s tactics: “American Transit has rushed into this lawsuit without ever examining Dr. Hostin or voicing any concerns to his lawyers.” Furthermore, Thwaites suggested that the real issue lies with an insurance company misusing the legal system to limit healthcare benefits for its clients while avoiding its financial responsibilities.

American Transit claims rampant insurance fraud exists due to New York State’s “No-Fault Law,” which mandates insurers cover up to $50,000 for road accident injuries. They argue this law incentivizes unethical providers to over-diagnose or over-bill patients to maximize profits: “These substantial possible no-fault recoveries can incentivize providers with ill intent.”

With taxis and ride-share vehicles required to offer up to $200,000 in coverage—four times more than private drivers—the industry faces increased scrutiny from those seeking payouts post-accidents. This situation has reportedly led to significant fraudulent activity affecting premiums for honest drivers while destabilizing New York City’s livery insurance market.

In light of these issues, American Transit seeks over $450 million in damages through this ongoing legal battle. The company accuses Hostin of receiving investment interests from Empire State Ambulatory Surgery Center as part of an arrangement where he allegedly referred numerous patients there unlawfully: “Empire State ASC issued regular payments…which were illegal kickbacks.”

Golden Globes Host Slams Kamala Right From the Start – WATCH!

0

Two months have passed since Vice President Kamala Harris faced a significant political setback, and it seems her popularity among Hollywood’s elite is waning. This was evident during the recent Golden Globes awards show, where host Nikki Glaser made Harris the subject of some biting jokes.

In her opening monologue, Glaser took aim at Hollywood’s inability to sway public opinion in Harris’s favor, highlighting that the views of celebrities like George Clooney and Matt Damon may not hold as much weight as they once did. “I am not here to roast you tonight,” Glaser began in a clip that quickly went viral. “How could I, really? You’re all so famous, so talented, so powerful. I mean, you could really do anything.” But then she delivered the punchline: “I mean, except tell the country who to vote for.”

Glaser didn’t stop there. As laughter filled the room, she added with a grin, “It’s okay, you’ll get ’em next time—if there is one. I’m scared. Ariana [Grande], hold my finger.” The pop star played along from her seat in the audience, embracing the humor of the moment.

This wasn’t an isolated incident either. Just a week prior, comedian Whitney Cummings appeared on CNN’s New Year’s Eve coverage and shared her own quips about Harris. She remarked that Harris “was forced on us so hard you’d think she was patented by Pfizer!” Cummings continued by poking fun at how Democrats managed their presidential primary process during Joe Biden’s candidacy. She turned to Anderson Cooper to check if she’d been cut off but was urged to keep going. “It’s amazing the pro-choice party didn’t give their voters one when it came to the presidential candidate,” Cummings joked.

These moments reflect a shift in how some comedians and entertainers are willing to address political figures traditionally supported by Hollywood circles.

VICTORY! Kamala Forced to Certify Results and Admit Trump Won (WATCH)

It’s officially OFFICIAL! Donny J is returning to the White House, and the cackle queen herself is the one who was forced to certify him! The Lord works in mysterious ways, eh?

Harris, who is President of the Senate, certified the 2024 presidential election results, admitting that Trump secured the majority with 312 electoral votes, where she only received 226. She read the results aloud, only pausing briefly as she reached Trump’s final numbers.

“The votes for President of the United States are as follows: Donald J. Trump of the state of Florida has received 312 votes. Kamala D. Harris of the state of California has received 226 votes,” Harris declared, and you can tell she was SEETHING inside.

“This announcement of the state of the vote by the President of the Senate shall be deemed a sufficient declaration of the persons elected President and Vice President of the United States, each for a term beginning on the 20th day of January 2025, and shall be entered together with the list of the votes on the journals of the House and the Senate. Thank you very much,” the vice president finished.
