Critics swiftly seized upon this moment, branding it as yet another blunder for the senator, who has been under increased scrutiny since Congress censured him last year.

The day kicked off with a heated exchange between Bondi, President-elect Trump’s nominee for Attorney General, and Schiff. As the former Florida Attorney General took questions about her stance on presidential pardons and her preparedness to lead the nation’s top law enforcement agency, she remained composed under pressure. “Will it be your advice to the President: ‘No, Mr. President. I need to go over them on a case-by-case basis. Do not issue blanket pardons.’ Will that be your advice?” Schiff pressed her hard.

Bondi responded firmly, “Senator, I have not looked at any of those files. If confirmed, I will look at the files for the pardons as well as the ongoing investigation.” Her calm demeanor stood out amidst the tense atmosphere.

When questioned about her ability to manage numerous cases immediately upon assuming office, Bondi didn’t hesitate: “I will look at every file I am asked to look at. I’m not going to mislead this body, nor you.” The discussion took a sharp turn when Bondi mentioned Schiff’s censure by Congress: “You were censured by Congress, Senator, for comments just like this that are so reckless!”

The hearing also saw attempts by Schiff to involve Bondi in a contentious investigation concerning former Representative Liz Cheney. He asked if Bondi had grounds to investigate Cheney over allegations of witness tampering related to her work on the January 6 Committee.

However, Bondi deftly sidestepped these attempts: “Senator, no one has asked me to investigate Liz Cheney. That is a hypothetical,” she stated before pivoting sharply towards California’s crime issues: “The crime rate in California right now is through the roof. Your robberies are 87% higher than the national average. That’s what I want to be focused on if I’m confirmed as Attorney General.”

Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ramaswamy hails from an immigrant family with roots in Kerala, India. His upbringing in Ohio has deeply influenced both his personal and professional life, strengthening his connection to the state.

Although Governor DeWine will make the final decision, sources say Trump has personally urged Ramaswamy to accept if offered. This appeal was delivered through a last-minute message sent recently. Meanwhile, Ohio Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted has also surfaced as a potential candidate; both he and DeWine visited Mar-a-Lago last month for discussions with Trump.

Governor DeWine told reporters in December that he’s actively interviewing candidates interested in joining the U.S. Senate: “This has to be someone who really wants to do the job and do the work and who we think has the ability to do it.” He emphasized that whoever takes on this role should not only win upcoming elections but also maintain their position long-term: “Every vote matters,” he remarked about ensuring stability within party lines.

Dan Tierney, spokesperson for Governor DeWine, mentioned to Fox News that they are seeking a “workhorse” for this Senate seat—someone “qualified and ready to earn the trust of Ohio voters for another term.”

Senator Markwayne Mullin was in the business of kicking butt and taking names on Tuesday when he called out Senate Democrats for showing up to work drunk. To make it even better, this came AFTER those same senators spent the morning claiming that Pete Hegseth shows up to work drunk.

A classic case of “accuse your opponent of what you’re guilty of,” am I right? We are looking at you Nancy Pelosi and Kamala Harris.

Mullin declared, “The senator from Virginia starts bringing up the fact that, ‘What if you showed up drunk to your job?’

“They can drive out the brown people, and the black and Asian people, or just sink them into the same apartheid they’ve created in Texas,” she continued. “They will control enough electoral votes if they control California to never have to worry about another presidential election. Emmanuel was accused of avoiding “paying for medical and surgical procedures for people it insured who were in pain.” Claims that Sonny says are frivolous, “This company has a history of filing frivolous claims, has been investigated by New York State and has been sued by Uber Technologies.”

Dr. Hostin, who has been married to Sunny since 1998, is one of more than 180 defendants named in litigation seeking federal racketeering charges against practitioners in the Eastern District Court of New York. According to Entertainment Weekly, American Transit Insurance is on the verge of bankruptcy, evidencing Sunny Hostin’s accusation that the company is desperate for funds, which is why it’s accusing Dr. Hostin of “performing surgery and fraudulently billing” them.

Two instances cited by the company allegedly occurred in January 2023, when it says two of Dr. Hostin’s patients were involved in “low-impact” collisions and suffered only minimal damage, “no more than soft-tissue injuries,” the suit goes on. Nevertheless, Dr. Hostin performed a battery of orthopedic surgical procedures, including arthroscopic surgery. Sunny claimed the company”used my celebrity status to start a disgusting media smear campaign against my husband.”

Really? They used her celebrity status? Or is her husband actually just a shady criminal?

“We have put American Transit on notice and will file a five-million-dollar counter lawsuit for their defamatory claims, an amount that is likely to increase as the reputational damage that American Transit has intentionally caused is difficult to quantify at this time,” Hostin told Fox News, and demanded that American Transit “withdraw these false allegations, pay my husband what he is owed and issue a public apology.”

Funny how she can spend years pointing fingers at others and trashing President Donald Trump – talking about him being a felon – but now that the tables have turned, she instantly plays victim.
