NYT’s David Brooks Slams Biden Over ‘Oligarchy’ Remarks: ‘Most Billionaires in U.S. are Dems’

0

New York Times columnist David Brooks went ham and cheese on Joe Biden on Friday, declaring that most billionaires in the United States are Democrats – negating the president’s comments claiming that Donald Trump would usher in an “oligarchy.”

Biden declared on Wednesday, “Today, an oligarchy is taking shape in America of extreme wealth, power, and influence that literally threatens our entire democracy, our basic rights and freedoms, and a fair shot for everyone to get ahead.” He continued, “We see the consequences all across America. And we’ve seen it before, more than a century ago. But the American people stood up to the robber barons back then and busted the trusts.”

During his appearance on PBS NewsHour on Friday, Brooks set Biden straight. “I think he’s right. There is an oligarchy, but it’s completely bipartisan. Most billionaires in this country are Democrats who go to speak at Aspen every year. I think I know something about billionaires. And there’s and there used to be one Republican, one Republican, this guy named Fred Malek, who unfortunately has left us. But like Hollywood, New York, San Francisco, these are Democratic places.”

He continued, “The Democratic Party has half the country, but about 75 percent of the GDP of this country. So there is a Democratic oligarchy and a Republican oligarchy. And so to say it’s all because of Elon Musk, well, that’s part of it. But there are a lot of billionaires on the Democratic side.”

Are Pigs Flying?? You’ll Never Guess Who Performed at Trump Pre-Inauguration!

0

What a strange year this has already been. Longtime Trump critic and hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg was among the artists that performed at the pre-inauguration event on Friday. This is a far cry from 2017 when he posted a music video showing him “kill” President Donald Trump.

Just three days before Trump is sworn back into office on January 20, many top dogs in crypto and A-list celebrities gathered at the first annual “Crypto Ball” in Washington D.C. for a pre-inauguration event. Some of the top crypto guests included  Michael Saylor, Brian Armstrong, the Winklevoss brothers and Jesse Powell, was well as several others.

Trending Politics reports:

Throughout Trump’s first term in the White House, Snoop Dogg established himself as a fierce critic. In 2017, he released an anti-Trump song titled “Make America  Crip Again,” a dig at the president’s “Make America Great Again” slogan while including a reference to the violent street gang with whom he is affiliated.

“The President said he wants to make America great again. F*** that s**t, we gonna make America Crip again,” the track begins. The rapper went on to attack Trump over his opposition to former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s national anthem protests, as Trump referred to anthem protesters as “sons of b**ches” and called for them to be cut.

“Certain people feel like we should make America ‘great again,’ but that time they’re referring to always takes me back to separation and segregation, so I’d rather Make America Crip Again,” Snoop Dogg said in a statement at the time. “What I mean by that is, in my lifetime, that’s when young Black men in impoverished areas organised to help their communities and to take care of their own because society basically left them for dead.”

So what changed? Last January the rapper declared that he had “nothing but love and respect” for Trump due to his efforts to pardon people as his first term came to an end. “Donald Trump? He ain’t done nothing wrong to me. He has done only great things for me,” he reportedly told The Times UK.

Snoop cited Trump pardoning Michael Harris, who was the rapper’s first record label. “So I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump,” he added.

Illegals So Afraid of Trump – They’re ‘Self-Deporting’ Ahead of Inauguration

In a surprising turn of events, the trash is essentially taking itself out. There are masses of illegal immigrants who are now “self-deporting” before President Donald Trump goes back into office.

NewsNation host Markie Martin reported on the crazy occurrence, noting that illegals have told their attorneys they would rather leave on their own terms, rather than be arrested and deported wherever Trump is going to send them. And they have a good point. Leave on your own accord or face the consequences. Either way, you’re outta here, Jack!

Trending Politics reports:

Although it remains unclear what number of migrants may be leaving on their own accord, a “trend” is developing across the U.S. that correspondent Jorge Ventura said has Mexico “bracing” to receive a crush of new arrivals once Trump is inaugurated on January 20th. “It is hardline messaging on those deportations” from Trump that has some migrants “panicking and even choosing now to self-deport back to their home country,” he said.

Rolando Vazquez, an immigration attorney in San Antonio, Texas, said some of his clients are so fearful of forcible removal that they’d rather get it over with themselves.

“Just as recently as yesterday, they notified me that they’re going to depart the country voluntarily, understanding that the Trump administration is going to carry through on their promises,” he told NewsNation.

Mexico has also given immigrants an incentive, which will allow for the arrival of more non-Mexican deportees. This helps the ones who are from countries like Cuba and Venezuela, countries who do not accept deportations from the United States, but “they may from Mexico,” Ventura believes.

“This is causing many migrants to leave on their own, knowing that they’re either going to be deported to their home country or be deported to Mexico, and obviously the overwhelming majority of them do not want to be in Mexico,” he added.

‘Shark Tank’ Investor Proposes HUGE Offer To Buy TikTok

0

As the United States government works tirelessly to ban the TikTok app, allegedly due to it being owned by China, “Shark Tank” investors Kevin O’Leary has made a whopping $20 billion IN CASH to buy the site. The app currently hosts more than 170 million users in the United States alone.

There were talks of Elon Musk buying the platform, but as of now, O’Leary is the leading contender. “It not going to get banned. I’m going to buy it. Somebody will buy it. It won’t be Meta and Google. A regulator will stop that. A syndicate will be formed. I’d like to be involved obviously,” he stated in March 2024.

“What I would do is form a bipartisan committee, an advisory committee for 18 months. go to them and say to them, how much will you let me keep of the Chinese?” O’Leary added.

Trending Politics reports:

A bipartisan bill to ban the social network in the U.S. easily passed in both chambers of Congress last year after lawmakers raised concerns about national security, data mining and a host of additional issues if the Chinese company is allowed to operate in its current form in the United States. Particular concern has been raised due to the platform’s demographics, as it largely appeals to teenagers and young adults.

The legislation gave TikTok nine months to either divest from its Chinese parent company  or be removed from U.S.-based app stores and hosting services.

ByteDance appealed the ban before the U.S. Supreme Court, though the court opted to uphold it in a ruling handed down on Friday night. “There is no doubt that, for more than 170 million Americans, TikTok offers a distinctive and expansive outlet for expression, means of engagement, and source of community,” the court said in its opinion. “But Congress has determined that divestiture is necessary to address its well-supported national security concerns regarding TikTok’s data collection practices and relationship with a foreign adversary.”

The ban is set to take effect on Sunday. However, incoming President Trump has made it clear that he will bring the app back.

Glenn Beck’s Chilling Theory on Why Trump Inauguration Was Moved Indoors

On Friday, Glenn Beck revealed what he believes may be the reason President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration was suddenly moved indoors. He thinks there may be more sinister forces at play….and he may be right.

Earlier in the day, Trump gave notice that his team is preparing for an indoor swearing-in ceremony. The Blaze commentator noted that the while the temps and inclement weather is being blamed, he thinks they could be taking measures against an assassination attempt.

Beck explained, “I think this is why they’re moving the inauguration and all of the people that were going to Washington to stand out in the cold to witness it inside. They’re moving all of the dignitaries inside, where it will be a private event, and one of the stadiums there, inside, they’re moving all of them inside and saying ‘don’t show up at the Capitol, show up at this arena.”

In his Truth Social post, Trump stated, “I don’t want to see people hurt, or injured, in any way. It is dangerous conditions for the tens of thousands of Law Enforcement, First Responders, Police K9s and even horses, and hundreds of thousands of supporters that will be outside for many hours on the 20th (In any event, if you decide to come, dress warmly!).”.

“We will open Capital One Arena on Monday for LIVE viewing of this Historic event, and to host the Presidential Parade. I will join the crowd at Capital One, after my Swearing In,” he added.

Beck believes that the part Trump didn’t mention was the possibility of another attack. “I think these guys are under such threat because, this is Jason Bourne stuff. Look, they’re changing the power structure in everything,” he said. “Do you know how much money is going to be lost because of Donald Trump? Do you know how much power is going to be lost because of Donald Trump and all of his surrogates?”

Beck also recalled the bitter temps of President Ronald Reagan’s ceremony in 1985, in which it dipped down to a mere 7 degrees with a windchill of -25.

“Does that make sense to you that they’re moving it because of the cold?” he asked viewers. “I will tell you: he’s hired his own private security company, and he’s not leaving it to the Secret Service. Is it to keep people safe from the weather, or just to keep people safe? One way or another, I’m glad that they’re going to be safe.”

Breaking Report: Pete Hegseth Just Secured HUGE WIN!

0

President Donald Trump’s nomination to lead the Department of Defense is IN! It appears that Pete Hegseth has the votes needed to be confirmed! This comes after a key holdout voter announced that he will support Hegseth afteall.

This is HUGE for the Trump administration, and comes merely days before Trump is sworn into office!

Trending Politics reports:

Burgess Everett, the congressional bureau chief for the news outlet Semafor, reported Thursday that Senator John Curtis (R-UT) would be supporting Hegseth’s nomination. Curtis was previously named as a potential holdout when anonymously-sourced, unverified allegations of heavy drinking and sexual assault were levied against the Trump nominee last month.

Despite being cleared of bogus sexual assault allegations, there were still numerous GOP senators who expressed “concern” over the reports. For example, Senator Joni Ernst declared that the allegations were “serious” and indicated that she could potentially be a holdout.

However, on Tuesday,  Ernst revealed that she would be voting to confirm Hegseth. This came after she received pressure from the Trump base as well as several Iowa Republicans declaring that they would challenge her if she did not support Hegseth.

GA House Speaker Throws Sen. Colton Moore Behind Bars in Shocking Chamber Power Play!

0

A tense showdown erupted in Georgia this week between the state’s political establishment and grassroots conservatives. The drama unfolded when Georgia House Speaker Jon Burns ordered the arrest of State Senator Colton Moore, a vocal supporter of the America First movement. Moore was detained after attempting to attend Governor Brian Kemp’s State of the State Address, sparking outrage among his allies who see this as a politically charged act of revenge.

This incident is the latest chapter in an ongoing conflict between establishment Republicans and Moore, who has been openly critical of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis for her prosecution of President-elect Donald Trump. Moore’s supporters argue that his arrest is a blatant attempt to silence dissent within the party.

Moore’s friction with Georgia’s political leaders dates back to March 2024, when he publicly accused former House Speaker David Ralston of corruption and called for legislative reforms. In response, Speaker Burns barred Moore from entering the Georgia House unless he apologized to Ralston’s family and supporters. Burns reiterated this demand in a letter prior to Governor Kemp’s address, emphasizing that Moore would be denied entry until he issued a formal apology.

Undeterred, Moore showed up at the Georgia Capitol on January 16th, 2025, asserting his right as an elected official to participate in legislative proceedings. When he attempted to enter the House Chamber, police intervened at Burns’ direction. The dramatic scene quickly spread across social media platforms as Moore was handcuffed and escorted out—a move unprecedented in Georgia’s political landscape.

Conservative activists and strategists aligned with Moore were quick to condemn Burns’ actions. Cliff Maloney, a strategist known for state senate campaigns, criticized Burns sharply: “Jon Burns belongs in prison for what he did today,” Maloney stated emphatically. He labeled Senator Colton Moore as an “America First patriot” who stood against DA Fani Willis’ alleged unlawful targeting of Trump. Maloney declared that Burns’ actions would tarnish his legacy indefinitely.

Following his arrest, Moore released a statement defying calls for contrition: “I will not apologize for standing up for my constituents and exposing corruption within our government,” he asserted firmly. “The people of Georgia elected me to fight for them, and I will not back down in the face of political intimidation.”

President Donald Trump has also spoken out in support of Moore.

Did Zuck’s Heart Grow a Few Sizes? Check Out What He Just Told Trump!

Meta’s recent decision to dismantle its fact-checking program has sent ripples throughout Silicon Valley, marking a significant shift in the way social media platforms approach free speech. The tech giant’s pivot towards embracing free expression principles is a notable change that extends beyond Facebook’s vast user base.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg emphasized this new direction, stating, “It’s time to get back to our roots around free expression on Facebook and Instagram.” This announcement accompanies sweeping changes that will lift restrictions on discussions about sensitive topics like immigration and gender. These policy adjustments are part of a broader restructuring within Meta, which includes appointing Republican Joel Kaplan as head of global policy and UFC CEO Dana White joining the board.

Behind these corporate changes lies an even more profound transformation in Zuckerberg himself. Once seen as a progressive tech leader from his days at Harvard, Zuckerberg’s evolution reflects a significant departure from his earlier liberal-leaning image. And honestly? The timing couldn’t be more perfect for such a shift.

Gone are the diversity initiatives and third-party fact-checkers that characterized Facebook’s approach during the Covid era. Instead, Meta introduces a Twitter-style “Community Notes” system that empowers users with more control over content moderation. This change follows private meetings between Zuckerberg and President-elect Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago, where they discussed resolving Trump’s 2021 lawsuit over his platform suspension.

In a recent appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast, Zuckerberg criticized the Biden administration for allegedly pressuring Meta executives to remove certain posts about the coronavirus. He described incidents where federal officials would “scream and curse” at company leaders who resisted censorship demands—a scenario that raises questions about democracy and freedom of speech.

“The US government should be defending its companies, not attacking them,” Zuckerberg asserted, earning praise from conservative circles for his stance. His political shift mirrors personal changes as well; once known as a scrawny programmer in hoodies, he now sports designer clothes and trains intensively in mixed martial arts.

“A lot of the corporate world is pretty culturally neutered,” he remarked to Rogan. “I think having a culture that celebrates aggression has its own merits.” This newfound philosophy extends beyond personal development; sources reveal that Zuckerberg’s Hawaiian estate includes an underground shelter with independent energy and food supplies—far from typical Silicon Valley luxury retreats.

Meta’s rightward turn reflects broader trends within America’s technology sector. Besides Zuckerberg’s interactions with Trump, other tech leaders like Jeff Bezos, Sundar Pichai of Google, and Tim Cook of Apple have also engaged with political figures since December 2024. Ben Mezrich noted this trend by saying, “Mark feels the way the wind is blowing,” suggesting tech billionaires are adapting to changing political climates.

With Meta pledging $1 million to Trump’s inauguration fund alongside other tech giants recognizing this shifting landscape, conservatives see this as validation against Big Tech’s previous censorship tendencies. For many who felt silenced during restrictive years on these platforms, Meta’s new direction represents not just political expediency but also a return to core American values like free expression and limited government intervention—principles foundational during early internet days.

Outrage Erupts as Biden’s Insensitive Joke Sparks Fury During LA Wildfire Crisis!

0

President Joe Biden stirred significant controversy on Thursday with a statement that many found “disgusting” while discussing the Los Angeles wildfires.  The wildfires themselves have already been a source of distress for residents, causing widespread damage and displacing countless families. Then Biden came along with tone deaf puns in an attempt to be funny.

After speaking on the government’s disaster response, Biden then yielded the floor to Vice President Kamala Harris with the following comment: “Madam Vice President, I know you’re directly affected. So you fire away, no pun intended.”

The backlash online ignited as quickly as the fires. “WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS DUDE,” asked Redstate writer Bonchie.

“Is the empathy in the room with you now?” Kevin McMahon, Townhall.com’s video editor chimed in.

Townhall columnist Derek Hunter said, “Most of the time, @JoeBiden is just a mean, vindictive person… but in this case, I think this can be blamed on his senility.”

However, even Harris was taken aback by the comment. “Even Kamala at this point is like ‘You serious dude?’” noted Stephen Miller of The Spectator.

What do you think? Is this something that can be brushed under the rug as Biden being old and senile? Or was this a tone deaf, malicious joke?
