Noem Destroys Dem Congressman for Defending Accused MS-13 Gang Banger

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem brought the fire on Capitol Hill this week — and Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) got scorched.

During a House Homeland Security Committee hearing on Wednesday, Goldman thought it’d be a good idea to go to bat for Kilmar Abrego Garcia — an illegal alien who’s been deported, accused of MS-13 gang ties, investigated for human trafficking, and twice accused of domestic abuse by his own wife. Sounds like a real model citizen, right?

But instead of asking how to protect American families, Goldman pressed Noem on what she was doing to bring this guy back into the country. You can’t make this stuff up.

Noem, never one to hold back, reminded the committee (and the country) that Abrego Garcia is exactly where he belongs — in his home country of El Salvador. And if he ever tries to sneak back in, DHS will deport him again. End of story.

But Goldman wasn’t done. He pushed again, asking: “What steps have you taken to return Mr. Abrego Garcia?”

That’s when Noem dropped the mic: “It’s got to be extremely discouraging to be one of your constituents, to see you fight for a terrorist like this and not fight for them is extremely alarming to me and I’m sure it is to your constituents.”

Amen. Because let’s be real — if you’re spending your time defending an accused human trafficker with MS-13 ties instead of the hardworking people in your district, your priorities are upside down.

And this isn’t just about some immigration paperwork. House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green (R-TN) has launched a full investigation into Abrego Garcia’s alleged role in a 2022 human trafficking operation based in Tennessee.

According to reports, a convicted felon who ran a smuggling ring told the FBI he hired Abrego Garcia to help sneak illegal immigrants across the southern border and into the U.S., completely undetected by law enforcement. That’s not immigration — that’s criminal enterprise.

Meanwhile, Abrego Garcia is currently sitting in a prison in San Salvador. And if he’s smart, he’ll stay there — because Secretary Noem has made it clear: he’s not welcome here.

But the fact that a sitting member of Congress is fighting harder for a suspected gang member than for the safety of American families? That’s what’s really alarming.

As Christians, we believe in grace and justice — but justice doesn’t mean turning a blind eye to crime. And it certainly doesn’t mean giving second chances to people who never respected our laws to begin with.

Kristi Noem stood up for America’s safety, while Dan Goldman stood up for an alleged MS-13 thug. The contrast couldn’t be clearer.
