Missouri Postal Supervisor Caught Red-Handed: Nearly 100 Checks Stolen from Innocent Americans!

A former supervisor at the U.S. Postal Service in Missouri has been accused of stealing nearly 100 checks from the mail, a development that further shakes public confidence in an institution often criticized for its inefficiency and corruption. Federal authorities unveiled these serious allegations on December 26 in a news release, revealing that Benita D. Randle, aged 42, was charged with theft while working at a St. Louis processing and distribution center.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Missouri, Randle was indicted earlier this month and has pleaded not guilty to the charges. Prosecutors claim that on October 31, 2023, Randle, then serving as a postal supervisor, took approximately 90 checks meant for delivery by the Postal Service. While details about the value and specific nature of these stolen checks are still unknown, this case highlights growing distrust in an agency riddled with systemic problems.

This incident is not unique; it adds to a list of challenges facing the U.S. Postal Service (USPS), which has been grappling with inefficiency and financial losses for years. The USPS has also faced scrutiny over its role during the 2020 elections. President-elect Donald Trump has indicated plans to privatize the USPS—a move many conservatives see as essential for ensuring accountability and financial stability.

Since 2007, staggering losses exceeding $100 billion have been reported by USPS. Just last fiscal year alone, the agency suffered a $9.5 billion deficit—an increase from $6.5 billion lost in 2023 as reported by Reuters. These financial woes reflect a bloated bureaucracy struggling to manage taxpayer money effectively while providing subpar service to Americans.

No wonder Trump wants to take the sector private. I’m with him!
