It’s absolutely laughable to hear the former NAACP president, Sherrilyn Ifill, label Trump’s Defense Secretary pick, Pete Hegseth, as a “white supremacist” simply because he opposes DEI in the military.
This is the kind of baseless accusation we’ve come to expect from Democrats, who are more interested in pushing their divisive agenda than in supporting a strong and unified military.
Ifill declared, “This is someone who I feel comfortable saying that, at least for me, white supremacy and your opposition to diversity in the military is a deal breaker as someone to lead the military.”
Sherrilyn Ifill — Civil Rights Chair at Howard Uni who was part of Biden’s SCOTUS Commission — slanders Trump SecDef nominee Pete Hegseth as a “known white supremacist” during an MSNBC appearance with Chris Hayes. This is the line of attack that’s coming.pic.twitter.com/dz3NlqQnks

Calling someone a “white supremacist” has meaning. And that meaning is not “has different politics than me.” It’s an extremely serious accusation, and situations like this only make a mockery of it. What a shame.
The left continues to demonize those who prioritize merit and competence over forced diversity quotas. It’s time Republicans stand up and reject these absurd claims and support leaders like Hegseth, who have the nation’s best interests at heart.
She’s a race baiter….or as one X user wrote, “Sherrilyn Ifill is a race hustling lunatic!” Zero respect deserved.
Sherrilyn Ifill is a race hustling lunatic. Dems have presented this woman as a potential Supreme Court Justice nominee in the recent past.
Also, she’s married to a white guy. https://t.co/QQ6j6mUZv8
