Liberal DC bishop Mariann Edgar Budde turned a prayer ceremony into a social justice lecture as President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, and their families sat awkwardly in the crowd.

She preached that “gay, lesbian and transgender children” are in “fear for their lives,” and called directly on the president to “have mercy” on the immigrant families “whose children fear that their parents will be taken away.”

Mercy for what? LGBT kids didn’t lose any rights. Their lives are not at stake. And the illegals SHOULD be deported. That is EXACTLY what America voted for when we re-elected Donald Trump.
This ceremony was not supposed to be political in any sense, but rather a prayer over new leadership in the country. Leave it to a snowflake “bishop” to turn it into something it’s not.
Props to Trump and the family for keeping a straight face though. I don’t think I’d have been able to do the same!
