‘Duck Dynasty’ Star Hit with Shocking Alzheimer’s Diagnosis!

It’s a sad day to hear that Phil Robertson, the patriarch of the beloved Duck Dynasty family, is facing health challenges.

Jase Robertson has disclosed that his father is in the “early stages” of Alzheimer’s disease. This revelation came during an episode of their podcast, Unashamed with the Robertson Family.

The family has been grappling with understanding Phil’s condition, as doctors suspect he also suffers from a blood disease.

Jase mentioned that alongside this “blood disease,” Phil is battling the onset of Alzheimer’s. It’s disheartening to hear Jase say, “Phil’s not doing well,” as they continue to seek clarity on his diagnosis. According to the doctors, there’s certainty about a blood disease causing widespread issues.

The situation seems to be worsening, with these conditions accelerating and affecting Phil’s entire body. Jase elaborated, “And, he has early stages of Alzheimer’s,” which compounds the struggle for Phil.

Alan Robertson, Phil’s eldest son, shared that their father experiences “good days and bad days,” akin to others dealing with Alzheimer’s.

Alzheimer’s is described by the Mayo Clinic as “the most common cause of dementia,” characterized by amyloid plaques and neurofibrillary tangles in the brain. It’s a devastating illness affecting millions across America.

The Mayo Clinic reports approximately 6.9 million Americans aged 65 and older live with Alzheimer’s, with 70 percent being over 75 years old.

In response to this challenging situation, Jase noted, “We’re trying to do a lot of things to try to figure out how to make him more comfortable, and maybe help with his memory.” The family remains proactive in seeking solutions for Phil’s comfort and well-being.
