Cybertruck Explosion Near Trump Hotel Sparks Terror Investigation

The recent explosion involving a Cybertruck outside the Trump hotel in Las Vegas has drawn significant attention and is now under investigation as a potential act of terrorism, according to ABC News.

Tragically, one person lost their life, while several others sustained injuries from the blast. The individual who died was reportedly the driver of the vehicle, which pulled up to the valet area moments before it exploded. In total, there were seven people with minor injuries; two of them were taken to UMC for further treatment.

Authorities are currently treating this incident as a possible criminal act and are considering terrorism as a motive until more information becomes available.

As reported by New York Post:

Officials said at least seven bystanders were injured in the explosion and the driver, who pulled the truck into the valet area of the hotel, was killed, ABC News reported.

The blast occurred just hours after a US military vet flying an ISIS flag rammed a pickup truck into a crowd of revelers ringing in the New Year on the famed Bourbon Street in New Orleans. The FBI is investigating the attack as an act of terrorism.

It is unclear what caused the blast at Trump Las Vegas hotel but the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is mounting a criminal investigation into whether it was intentionally detonated and are treating it as a possible act of terror.

The situation has sparked widespread concern and speculation, and investigators are working tirelessly to uncover a motive and determine whether it was an isolated incident or part of a larger threat.

According to reports, police have also confirmed that the truck was paced with firework-style mortars. Investigators are also trying to determine if they were set off intentionally.
