BREAKING: Pardoned J6 Prisoner Shot & Killed by Police

In an unfortunate turn of events, an Indiana man earned his freedom just to lose it days later.

Matthew Huttle was pardoned less than a week ago by President Donald Trump for his involvement of the January 6th protest at the Capitol. The 42-year-old was then shot and killed by police on Sunday during a traffic stop.

Indiana State Police reported that Huttle was pulled over around 4:15 p.m. by a Jasper County Sheriff’s deputy, during which there was an altercation between him and law enforcement.

Trending Politics reports:

Authorities say the traffic stop escalated when the deputy attempted to arrest Huttle. It’s unclear what led to the attempted arrest, but state police report that Huttle resisted and a physical struggle ensued. During the altercation, the deputy fired his weapon, killing Huttle.

The details surrounding the incident remain murky, with police not yet releasing information on why Huttle was being taken into custody or the exact circumstances that led to the fatal shooting. The Indiana State Police are investigating the shooting, which is standard procedure in officer-involved fatalities.

State police report that Huttle had a firearm during the traffic stop. However, details about the altercation with the deputy and the reasons for Huttle’s arrest have not been disclosed.

While it does sound kind of fishy, we cannot deny that Huttle also had a criminal history. Could this have been an incident where he fought police and paid the price for it? Yes. Is there a possibility that this could be a result of Biden’s weaponized DOJ? Also yes. We need the body cam footage to determine that.

“An altercation took place between the suspect and the officer, which resulted in the officer firing his weapon and fatally wounding the suspect,” read the press release of the incident.

Sheriff Patrick Williamson has since called for an Indiana State Police investigation and noted that the officer involved has been placed on a paid administrative leave pending the investigation.

“Our condolences go out to the family of the deceased as any loss of life is traumatic to those that were close to Mr. Huttle,” Williamson stated. “I will release the officer’s name once I have approval from the State Police Detectives.”
