Disgraced former CNN reporter Jim Acosta took a jab at White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, claiming that she could be one of President Donald Trump’s “all-time liars” if she works hard at it.
During her appearance at this week’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), Leavitt took her golden opportunity to throw it back at Acosta, declaring from the stage that he shouldn’t be barking at her while he is at home on the couch.
“Since you brought up Jim Acosta: He’s been saying some not-so-nice things about me online, and I’ve resisted responding. But since you brought him up, I’d like to say: Jim, at least I have a job, Jim. OK? Just saying,” she said to the crowd, receiving a roaring applause.
OUCH. How’s that saying go? Mess around and find out? Acosta surely found out, and I’m willing to bet his mouth was BITTER when he heard it.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt just COOKED ex-CNN propagandist Jim Acosta: “He’s been saying some not-so-nice things about me… And I’ve resisted responding. But since you brought him up. I’d like to say, Jim, at least I have a job…”pic.twitter.com/I7bYRuIrkv

Leavitt’s punch back was a slow burn, as she waited about a week to deliver her blow, after Acosta appeared on liberal podcast Meidas Touch, during which he mocked the press secretary as a “kid” who is “telling you a tall tale.”
“She might just get on Trump’s all-star team of liars.” Acosta smugly declared. “She might be on the bench right now, but if she keeps working hard, she does her homework, she just might make it onto the team.”
He added, “It’s sort of like…when your kid is telling you a tall tale, and you’re just looking at them like, ‘Okay Johnny, sure, yeah, I believe you … and you just walk away saying, ‘What the hell. That kid’s not telling me the truth.’”
Leavitt might be young, at only 27-years-old, but she is far from a “kid” or a liar. The woman has a bright future ahead of her. Which is more than we can currently say about Acosta.
