An Amazon strike is making waves as thousands of employees take a stand at various facilities, sparking significant attention just before the holiday season.
In Staten Island, New York, hundreds of workers have joined this larger movement, participating in a walkout that spans multiple locations. This protest includes members of the Teamsters union, who are persisting with their strike at seven delivery hubs across the country, all happening in the crucial days leading up to Christmas.
The situation is set to escalate further as workers from a key unionized warehouse in New York plan to join the strike when midnight strikes on Saturday. This development was highlighted in a video shared by X user Oliya Scootercaster. The unfolding events are being closely watched and discussed online.

I think this is extremely selfish – timing their potent just days before Christmas as many are waiting for gifts to wrap for their children, friends, and family.
Quite the timing with the holidays!pic.twitter.com/UHV3Z5p9sY

Amazon workers’ current benefits include full medical, dental, optometry, parental leave, paid time off, 401k, flex, prepaid education, travel and lodging, adoption assistance, legal assistance, pregnant help…..and this is how they want to act days before Christmas? I have no sympathy.
