Democrats just can’t quit Donald Trump.
On Monday, Rep. Shri Thanedar introduced a doomed set of impeachment articles against President Trump—yes, the duly elected 47th President of the United States—barely 100 days into his second term. Despite Trump’s landslide victory in November 2024, which saw him dominate not only the Electoral College but also win the popular vote and flip every swing state, Democrats are already trying to hit the panic button.
In a desperate post on X, Thanedar claimed he filed a resolution to impeach President Trump for everything from “obstruction of justice” to—wait for it—“tyranny.” That’s right. Apparently restoring law and order is now considered tyranny in Democrat circles.
I have introduced articles of impeachment against President Trump.
When Trump ignores the Constitution, Congress, and the courts, he is not “fighting for America.”
He is tearing it down and endangering our democracy. pic.twitter.com/40iBTZKjkC

Fox News’ Chad Pergram confirmed the filing, which reportedly includes a laundry list of vague, politically charged accusations: obstruction of justice, abuse of trade powers, bribery, and even “creation of an unlawful office.” You know, the usual tantrum politics when Democrats don’t get their way.
The timing? Conveniently just as Trump wraps up a powerhouse first 100 days in office.
Since returning to the White House, President Trump has wasted no time fulfilling his campaign promises. He invoked the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to fast-track deportations, sending criminal migrants—including alleged gang members—straight back to El Salvador. Meanwhile, Democrats clutched their pearls when a left-wing Wisconsin judge, Hannah Dugan, was arrested by the FBI for allegedly helping an illegal migrant evade arrest.
FBI Director Kash Patel put it simply: “No one is above the law.” That, of course, triggered the usual outrage from the left.
White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller didn’t mince words, calling out Democrats for spending the last eight years “stripping Americans of due process,” weaponizing the intelligence community against Trump, and “launching a coup” against both his candidacy and presidency.
“They orchestrated a mass invasion of the United States,” Miller said, pointing to the humanitarian crisis that has exploded under Democrat policies. “And now they scream when it’s reversed and the law is enforced.”
If this guy lived in India, he would be a municipal clerk or waiter.
Here he thrives because of “diversity.”
On the Left, his broken English and semi-illiterate solecisms are seen as positive traits.
We need fewer people like him in this country. pic.twitter.com/rV9tQMuiHM

Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, sent a clear warning to any activist judges trying to stand in the way: “You will be prosecuted. Judge or not.”
Beyond immigration, Trump has also taken a wrecking ball to bad trade deals. Earlier this month, he announced sweeping tariffs on nearly every nation that exports to the U.S.—including a 34% hike on Chinese goods. Most countries blinked and returned to the table. China didn’t, and Trump responded by raising tariffs to 145% and shutting down their favorite trade loophole.
In fact, things got so real that Chinese dictator Xi Jinping reportedly called Trump directly to start talking terms.
So while Democrats are busy filing performative impeachment resolutions, President Trump is doing exactly what voters elected him to do: restoring American strength, securing the border, and putting U.S. interests first.
Sounds like the only thing Thanedar’s resolution is impeaching… is his own credibility.
